Religious people scare the crap out of me, ever since the Dennis Rader fiasco (didn't that guy work at a church or something) now whenever I see religous people they scare me worse than clowns, I mean you could be hanging with them and they are like praise allah, or god, or whatever and then stab you in the gonads with a paperclip, or open up their explosive laden coat and go "LA LA LA" and then blow Cheetos evrywhere, just wondering if the religious are crazier than most in the fruit loopy world.

Peter Kenyan: I like you, you crazy clown, you can come to my house and write my resume for me.

Batgirl: You can't come over to my house though, you are kind of mean.

Wow! some good answers from both sides of the spectrum, I guess it could just be said nothing good can come of anything taken too extremely. And the me being "loopy" was to goad some into taking the bait, which some did. Well I i hope some people can learn to throttle back in life a little, or else it will be paper clips and cheetos everywhere.

Oh, and I do good angel, and hopefully you do good too.

I totally promise I won't stab you in the gonads with a paperclip.
Explosives scare me.
I like clowns, and I like Cheetos.
AND, I am prone to sing without warning when I am happy.
I am a Christian.
But don't let that worry you too much.
I've been called worse.
I've raised seven kids, and I've survived the Insane Clown Posse (now, THOSE were some scary clowns!!), so I think I'll be OK...

How are you?

They are sheep. They usually are very weak minded people that believe anything that anyone tells them even though it goes against everything that the scientific facts show are impossible. Such as Adam being made out of dirt and giving one rib to Eve. What the heck? and what about the virgin birth? And why is it that everyone back in the old days claimed that god spoke to them but if someone today claims god talked to them, we lock them up in an asylum? Because they are CRAZY not prophets!
Oh and the best one is the people that protest and bomb the abortion clinics because apparently it is a sin to kill a ball of cells in its first trimester but its not a sin to kill an abortion Dr in his 157th trimester.....hhhmmm makes you wonder.
Christians always try to pawn their contradicting, illogical beliefs on everyone else and then when you ask why about anything the only answer they have is "its gods will" wow can you be anymore obscure? talk about avoiding the question.
They are all a bunch of weak-minded, brain washed, hypocritical sheep.

I don't mind the moderately religious but when people can't make a sentence without praising and blessing and genuflecting and bowing to the east .... that's just way too much religion for my liking. I don't like people to bless me, I don't like it when they say salaam allahkoom to me because it's not just a "hi," or "how's it hangin'?" but it's THEM dragging their religion into MY life .... and I don't want it!

I feel sorry for the ones who are not embarrassed to say, in a normal conversation, "God be praised," "blessed be our dear Lord and Savior," "Peace be upon him," "hallelujah" and all that other blah, because I think it reveals a severe lack of manners and sensitivity to others' beliefs. I figure ... keep it to yourself or you won't have me for a friend and over time, you won't have ANY normal friends!

I'm not afraid of the extremely religious, I just pity them.

My general impression is similar to when I see people with Downs Syndrome... but more extreme.
I mean... I'll stare at them, and part of me will be disgusted... but more often than not I just feel sorry for them because they're retarded and can't help it.

As such... part of me wants to help them to overcome their crippling mental deficiency... while another part of me just wants to put them down (to put them out of their / my / everyone's misery).

Generally though, I try not to think about it too much.... as in real terms there isn't anything I can do.
I'm not a doctor. I can't cure their disease... I just need to get on with my life and don't fret about the billions of people dying with religion.

Of course those who go around spreading the disease are in serious need of shotgun-therapy.

I have faith, I'm just normal. I realise how "people of faith" may appear to be weird.
It's just that they have decided what humans thinks is not important and it's their creator they live for.

Although I value your opinion, my God's opinion is far more important to me.

Call me crazy if you like though, I'd rather be different than follow the trend.

It takes more faith to be an atheist than it takes to belive in God. We all have a free will, and God will do as we have chosen within His two choices what comes to the eternity: hell and heaven.

95% of them are coerced, fearful sheep who can be rallied to violence and hatred very easily by their leaders.

The cult of religion really scares me. It is one of the most effective methods of controlling people that there is.

Religion is for true guidance but in general we find them reverse and crazzier than commons.

I think their minds are weak/sick in a certain way. I feel for them and wish I could help.

My general impression of people of faith is that they are exactly like people without faith except they have faith, which is why they're called people of faith.
