No, Jehovah is the personal name of Almighty God.
The King James Version uses the name "Jehovah" four times (Exodus 6:3; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4). A few place-names which include "Jehovah" are also left intact (see Genesis 22:14; Exodus 17:15; Judges 6:24).
The shortened form of "Jehovah" is "Jah". KJV uses "Jah" at Psalm 68:4, and within the exclamation "Hallelu-jah" (or "Alleluia"), which literally means "praise Jah" (see Revelation 19:1-6).

jehovah is believed to be the name of God in some religions. There are many people who say that god is either male or female, and some say that no gender can be connected to him. In religious writings such as the Bible and the Koran, or Jewish Old Testament bibles, God is described as being male. This might result from the fact that in earlier times, women played no significant roles, and such important figures such as god, jesus, messiahs and religious saviors were mostly guys.

It is generally agreed in almost all religions that God does not have a gender. However, in reality the bible constantly portrays his as a male figure, "heavenly father", "created 'Man' in his image", etc. It probably a reflection of the attitudes of the patriarchal societies of the time.
