They do such as Isis, Lilith, but God is not a man or women figure. He is of both. We just use HE because that's how the English language refers to an unknown. Plus, back in the day, women were subservient, so no way God would ever be referred to but anything but a man.

Man (mankind), man and women, were made in the image of God. For He is the Father, and the Mother (creator).
He didn't make Adam and Edward. He made Adam and Eve.

Because at the same time as these misogynistic religions were being constructed, women were being subjugated and suppressed, no ideological idea put forward by a woman would have been taken seriously.

Nowadays, with the status of women much improved in much of the world the ideas of women are valued, however, any attempt to invent new gods would be greeted by ridicule and contempt, it is that simple.

Ladies have, unfortunately perhaps, lost their opportunity to add to the worlds many thousands of religions, the essential ingredients of ignorance tribalism and totalitarianism have largely dissipated from modern human civilization.

well, in temrs of Yahweh (being one and the same deity as Allah the great and Jehova the strong, there is Sophia, mother of God.

To forget about the major monotheistic religions though, there's Isis, Diana, Astarte, Demeter, Hecate, Inanna, and Kali (and a whole host more of them.)

The bible teaches that both men AND women are made in God's image.

(Genesis 1:27) God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.

Jesus plainly taught that any attempt by men to subjugate women was a distortion of God's purposes.

(Mark 10:5-8) Jesus said to them: “Out of regard for your hardheartedness he wrote you this commandment. However, from the beginning of creation ‘He made them male and female. On this account a man will leave his father and mother, and the two will be one flesh’; so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.

It's because men through the ages have been the dominant sex. Most men know they are superior to women in every way, but it's really just a delusion
