Gravity will begin to pull the galaxies back towards the center of the universe. When this happens, every galaxy will show a blue shift in it's spectrum. Recall that a blue shift means that a galaxy is moving towards the earth.

As galaxies race back towards the center of the universe, the matter and energy will again come closer and closer to the central area. After many billions of years, all the matter and energy will be once again packed into a small area. This area may be no larger than the period at the end of this sentence. Then another Big Bang will occur. The formation of a universe will begin all over again. A universe that periodically expands and contracts on itself is called a closed universe. In a closed universe, a Big Bang may occur every 80-100 billion years.

if we can criticize politics, cultures, social customs and ideas and a host of other things, why not religion?

and why does the koran decree execution for those who criticize or leave islam? from where did the muslim god get this right?

so does it mean that islam has a 1 way ticket which means that if you want to turn back and run away from islam you get murdered?

when will decent human beings stand up and hit back at such cowards who believe that they need to silence islam critics?

God is a God of love, but also a God of wrath. You chose which one you want to judge you? Reject God and the God of wrath will judge you. That is why Jesus is the Savior. He saves you from the wrath of God.

Agree?

Jn 3:.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

My step-mother was a terrible alcoholic, she was refused by many churches because of it. But you know what, as miserable as I was in her presence, when she died, I then knew her purpose in my life. Sometimes it takes people of that extreme for us to open our eyes. Do I think she went to hell, absolutely not. I would even go so far as to say she is more of a saint than I am, what have I shown someone of that magnitude. My dad came from a long line of terrible alcoholics as well. He stopped drinking because of her, I never picked up the habit (not to say I never drank), and the same with my sister. We were spared because of her, she broke the cycle. Even the worst person we can imagine might look "evil" in our eyes but dont they really teach us the extreme of what we dont want to be? Maybe they are the really the blessings in disguise.

...Does that mean the more religious a man is, the less intelligent?

I think of some of the greatest scientist, chemist, physicist, astronomers and inventors who have revolutionized how we view the world and technology today. They were very firm believing Christians, but without them we probably wouldn't be using a light globe, let alone the internet.

Your thoughts please.

It is the beginning of time and nothing exists, nothing! Except you for some reason. I mean, surely it would have been just as easy for an entire universe to pop out of no where than a creator, but you're not going to question your own existence now are you? You could disappear in a puff of logic. Next step: you need a look. Wait, why do I need a look, no one else exists to see me. Oh well, now you want to create a species that looks identical to you for some reason. You're not doing it out of love, can you love a dog without having any idea of a dogs characteristics? No. Then perhaps you got lonely? Maybe you wanted an inferior being to exist in order to make yourself look better by comparison? Perhaps you feed off belief? Whatever selfish reason you had for doing it, it's done now. Several centuries have passed and nobody's worshipping you. Instead they're worshipping some other group of non-existent gods because they're confused about how the universe around them works. Damn...

ok i have no doubt that a man called jesus did in fact exist.but my query is this, in those times every white person had a slave, if not they had a respectable place whithin society.so a traditional slave job would be, well everything so how was jesus a carpenter if he was white?? why was there so much prejudice against a man that had done nothing wrong?he spoke of an oppinion which would be simply ignored by most if not all.my personal theory is that 1 person happened to write a story about his friend that a few thousand years later the human race is stupid enough to believe. i dont believe that he could turn water to wine etc, or rose from the dead.and why has this so called savior done nothing for us since his introduction all those ago??there is a war going on and he is sitting on his throne.religion is a concept thought up to make money and to make the lives of people that belive in religion a little easier.this is my oppinion so dont get up in arms about it.

Take for example this website for instance
http://www.ucgstp.org/lit/gn/gn047/worldwideflood.htm
It list's a group of scientists who make a discovery that and I quote "There is no question that there was a flood and there is also no question that it was a universal flood."Cesar Emiliani(1977)
In fact this is a lie. Cesare Emiliani himself wrote books on evolution and the big bang theory. You would think making such a huge discovery as this Christian site claims would have changed his mind...but it didn't. http://www.powells.com/biblio?isbn=9780471133247
James Kennet also believer in Evolution
http://www.ia.ucsb.edu/pa/display.aspx?pkey=446
The other scientists, they didn't even get his name right
they are refering to Sir Nicholas Shackleton also died an evolutionist. http://www.quaternary.group.cam.ac.uk/history/directors/shackleton.html
If anyone actually takes the time to fully research each and everyone of these creations claims you will find that most of them are filled with lies

I am curious I have sat on YA for sometime and this question hasnt been asked before why does one feel the need to bash, and questions anothers faith system?
they all essentialy teach the same things in diffrent phrasing all want to find that higher place,
atheists......please when you bash religion understand this it has been a time old thing that religion has existed "religion is the opiate of the people" most will agree that religion has affected culture that is age old most phrases that we throw around even cuss words use things like god ****it so if you remove religion would you remove common order, law and such because if I am not mistaken religion was a starter of laws, or "morality" ( I use the term morality in () becuase Morality is relevant to the religion)
