God has already proved his existence through His creations (human being, nature etc). Even if you don't believe God is God. His creations are already there. If you want to verify you have find out who is your father's farther and his father's father and his father's father etc. Instead you can believe the history written in the Bible from the beginning or if you find any convincing truth you can believe, but don't say it is wrong because you don't know the actual truth.

He made a personal appearance around 2000 years ago. All of His work is here for everyone to see, also. Humanity has always asked for a sign. But Jesus said none would be given except the sign of Jonah. Most people didn't know what that meant when He was here, so I don't expect most people to know what that means now. But basically, the empty tomb is the only sign anyone will get. But, God did give everyone the measure of faith. People who don't use their faith are simply blind to the resources God has provided them. Peace.

A world in which such a being existed would be very different from the one we see. This god would not have to actually appear, but something like true intelligent design would suffice, needless to say no proofs have ever been found, god does not exist.

why should we expect "god" to prove itself another thing who says god is male I belive in the roots of judism god is not noted to be either the only time that "god" was mentioned to be male is in the "our father" wich is new testiment. the jewish star is represented to be male/female the 2 triangles interlocking, also just so that everyone gets it strait what god are we talking about? you just said god not gods so I am assuming that you are talking about the monotheistic religions?
