The story of Adam and Eve is an example of a style of writing in the Bible called Myths. These are stories which were written to teach us an important lesson. These stories never happened but the message is for all ages.

You may have noticed that the religions are mostly about men. When one reads the genealogies women are not mentioned to any extent, if at all. Any female children of Adam and Eve are not mentioned. There had to be some, of course. That is the only place wives could have come from. I am an atheist and place no value on the accuracy of these old myths and legends, so I just look at it as I would any problem and come up with a solution for it. I don't necessarily believe it to be true, just the only logical solution.

The story of Adam and Eve is a religious fabrication. It never happened. When members of the same family bear children, the offspring are always born with genetic defects like sterility or Mongolism(Down Syndrome). If you want proof, marry your cousin and have children. Knowledge is the enemy of religion.

It doesn't say that Adam and Eve didn't have other children.
"And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:"

Well, it wasn't said that they had other kids but it wasn't said that they didn't, either! (I'm a 13 year old and I'm just beginning my journey :] ). But you know what? When we die and float on up to Heaven and we meet our creator, we'll figure everything out (or, he'll tell us) and we'll be like "oh! DUH! It was right in front of me the whole time". Everything is practically right in front of us, but just further than our knowledge can ever imagine. I hope I helped! And gosh! You really got me thinking! If you know any of the answers to a few of my questions, please take a shot at it!
God Bless! :]

Good question? I've been asking myself a lot of questions about a lot of "facts" over 3 decades. I can't seem to find them either. Some things just do not make any sense.

um arielsalom, that is not a good argument for the "gay cause" seeing as gay people cannot reproduce ... the problem still exists - who did the sons marry and reproduce with?!
