God is a God of love, but also a God of wrath. You chose which one you want to judge you? Reject God and the God of wrath will judge you. That is why Jesus is the Savior. He saves you from the wrath of God.

Agree?

Jn 3:.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I am tired of people acting like God sends atheists to Hell. He does no such thing. They send themselves.

OH! NOW i get it! There are two gods! The mean one and the nice one, and Jesus is the guy at the gate who puts in a good word for you. All this time I thought the Christian god was one god that had a split personality.

I was laboring under the impression that Christianity is just another RIP-off of ancient pagan astrological religions, with a few details changed around to help control the masses.

I thought the cross was from the constellation "crux" and the star in the east was Sirius and the three kings were the three stars that align with Sirius at the equinox to point at the sun's point of rising.

Now that you've explained this so clearly, I can go about my life doing whatever I want, knowing that Jesus will forgive me for all my sins and get me in to the good place without a background check. Thank you so much.

What is with all this "separated from God/absence of God" stuff? How many Christians can honestly say they have ever even felt the presence of God? I DO NOT believe you when you say that you "feel" him, and you know that you're not telling me the truth when you do. You may want to believe and you may imagine what it might feel like, but that's not the same thing.

no one gets sent to hell because hell doesn't exist

although you believe that your supposedly all loving and all powerful god allows people to be punished for all eternity and don't think thats a bad thing

that makes you one incredibly sick person in my view. I don't believe anyone deserves that for any reason. Not even you. I guess that makes me a far more empathic person than you

And how were the people judged before God decided to have children? Did they still go to heaven? Or did God deny them entrance because Jesus wasn't born yet? Christianity doesn't want you to realize that.

"Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell"
Luke 12:5

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Matthew 10:28

"This you shall have from My hand: You shall lie down in torment. "
Isaiah 50:11

"If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire"
Revelation 20:15

In fact, God does punish people by condemning them to Hell.

If I send myself then...I guess I won't be going. But I'm not going to start worshipping the biblical god either.

So there are 2 God's now? A good god and and evil god? If you don't worship the good god, you'll piss off the evil god and he'll send you to hell?

Either way you're screwed.

Why bother? Why not think for yourself???

I agree that "atheists send themselves to hell" but I don't really agree with what you're saying about God's wrath, necessarily.
It's not "love me or go to hell" it's, "if you don't love me, you wouldn't want to spend eternity with you, so go ahead and spend it away from me." All hell is is the absence of God. If atheists don't *want* to be with God, why would God force them to do it?! God is just giving the atheists what they want. They rejected him all during life - why should they expect to--or want to--spend eternity with him?

god is love only love, the god of wrath you speak about is the fallen ones trickery, he has snuck into the church and is controling many poeple by making them think it is ok to judge others in the name of god. It is never ok to judge others and judging others will not get you back to father, only love will get you back to father.

God sends no one to hell any more than Zeuss does.I don't send myself to hell much as I don't try to travel to Valhalla, there is no such being nor place

It is not usually a matter of proof that God exists, I think it is that many choose to be without God.

Heaven is not the reward for loving God, God's love is the reward. Heaven is just a place where that will occur. Likewise hell is just a place for those who don't want God.

The gates of hell are barred from the inside to keep God out.
