I always thought I was an atheist because I rejected the god hypothesis, but it turns out I'm actually one of the few Biophysical Polydeists in the world. A fellow philosopher figured this out and emailed this fact to me via email after reading my book. I got to say, I'm quite frankly stunned, and am still trying to get my head around it all. I mean, WHAT THE F............!?!

I respect you and don't mean to offend you.

The section of R & S is meant only for those who believe in God because
1) Religion is obviously related to God.
2) Spirituality contains the element of the Holy Spirit. All religions like Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam agree to it.

Therefore, this section is not meant for you. Why don't you atheists go some place else or make your own section titled "ATHEISTS".

Brothers and sisters, I got this mail from a friend here on Y!A.. I shall not say his name.. but shall paste his mail:

"Subject: Hello
Message: Dear lawrance,
I’m a Shiat Muslim, or Muslim Shiat, as (Muslim) must be introduced before any other name. This is the name Allah named us.
I am sorry for my previous threats to you, I listened open mindedly to your questions and asked my Imam in the masjid, he said that not all sunna are Saddam, he also said that a good Shiat hates no body specially another muslim who believe in one Allah and Mohamed and loves the household of the prophet, and he told me that sunnas brothers also love and respect the family of the prophet, he told me that Al Hussien is known by sunna as great Wali and people travel to pray in his masjid in Egypt and they call him (the master of the youth of heaven). ---> Continue...

If you think it means something else, then how do you explain this verse:
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

I'm Catholic and am aware that the Rosary is the most powerful devotion around. It's been described by EVERYONE as the "most powerful weapon against Satan." So what is the use of praying other devotions, such as the Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel, etc?

If the other prayers and devotions are less powerful than the Rosary, why use them? Why not just stick with the Rosary, rain, hail, or shine? By praying other devotions, aren't you just participating in a "second rate" devotion - because it acquires less graces... when compared to the Rosary and the graces Our Lady can acquire for us from God?

(In anticipation of any uninformed Protestants reading this post and hoping to get a word in: Catholics DO NOT, and never will, worship Mary... please don't waste mine and your time by posting such anti- Christian ideas)

If a good friend is riddled with cancer and only has months to live, in which he will suffer a lot despite all the morphine etc., why wouldn't you let him take a dignified departure by allowing him to euthanise himself (like the Netherlands and Switzerland do, two of the most civilised nations on earth).

What happened to Love, the most important "gift from God"? Oh I know, God only is allowed to take life but many have no problem executing criminals or carpet bombing iraqi villages. Double standards!!!???

I have read scriptures that seem to prove to me that Jesus is God, not in person but in nature. I am now questioning the organisations teachings or lack of in this area. I am afraid to just leave because I believe other scriptures, particularly about the condition of the dead, hell and the resurrection. My son recently died with no beliefs and I simply cannot believe that a loving God would torture anyone, even the most evil. I also cannot deny that applying Bible truths to ones life is a safeguard in this wicked world. Where do I go now? If there is a universal truth how do I find it? Jesus said seek and you will find, where do I seek? Agnosics, atheists etc please don't answer. I have a faith in God and Jesus that is strong but need to know the truth about them.
