I'm not sure just what you mean by crossing the line or radical militant behavior, but I believe that we should be committed in our faith as I'm sure you believe you should as well.

I would not favor breaking the law.

Well I have 2 Irish catholic Friends and every time I try to talk about Jesus they want to fight me. So maybe your question should've been "why are catholics so militant?"
