Hypno pope---Whats this, insult # 10,000? You are no one to give advice.
You are a true testament to atheism and its lifestyle of insult and ridicule.
There were people just like you nailing Christ to the cross, and rolling dice for his clothing.
Bet you could have won.

Tech69 Did they teach you that smugness in college? Insult, pretend to be innocent, and then hide behind "That's not very Christian of you."
Too bad, this one bites back.
Now go cry.

Bouken---at least I believe in God and things spiritual-----you are an oxymoron, you are an atheist on a site about religion and spirituality. Now you feel picked on. Gosh wonder if you have ever made people feel picked on?

Vorenhutz---I ask you why are you here, because if you are an atheist here to ridicule Christians, you need to recognize that about yourself. You need to realize that you are only insulting and hurting people, and maybe you can quit it.

Artistic hand----Yes I understand, a few more laughs before you die forever. Since your belief offers you no hope, what do you care?

I think like minded people attract each other in every realm.

The sad thing is they still have 'the grass is greener on the other side' mentality. And do look, though taken. People need to wake up and enjoy the one whom the Lord put them with.

I praise God for my hubby!!

I have never picked on anyone or their beliefs, especially their beliefs,I just answer the question as it is put.To answer your question.I am on this site because i want to be,not because I am lonely, although I do feel lonely sometimes. It isn't always easy to be a disabled person.I am a non believer.Do I sometimes have a laugh at the talking snake?Yes I do.Do I have a chuckle when the topic turns to the chatting donkey?Yes I do,I mean, who wouldn't!The articulate burning bush?Yes that too but, you? No,I am not here to pick on you.I hope this helps, even if it is just a little.

I'm neither and can tell you from that view point that BY FAR the people doing the most 'picking' on others would be the ever-loving xtians.
Singling out atheists makes xtians look moronic- atheists would be among the best people to debate with theists as they have an opposing or (if YOU LET THEM-) objective viewpoint.
But clearly those xtian schools don't teach debate...

Yes, it is lonely being an atheist... mainly because, in my experience, atheists don't like organizing into groups... it makes them feel too much like religious folks. So we don't have the built-in social structure like churches provide.

But that's not why I'm here... I like to provide a face for the atheist movement... I like to keep my finger on the pulse of what believers are about and try to make them understand they are not the only ones in this country with a voice.

I do not need people to pick on... i already have a son. ;-)

I hate bullying in any form, I come onto this site to learn and expand my knowledge on all the subjects (not just R&S). I have had a look through your Q&A and every single one of them is about R&S. Many of them are slagging of atheists. It seems to me that you are very one dimentional, try to develop some other interests rather than R&S. You might feel more worldly and more tolerant towards other peoples beliefs.

No I'm not lonely. I'm here to give my opinion on the topic of religion and spirituality. No I don't need people to pick on.

There, now I've explained why atheists come to R&S, you can stop spouting nonsense about how it's an oxymoron.

No it's not lonely being an atheist - religion has nothing to do with companionship. I'm on this site because I'm bored at work and fancy sharing whatever knowledge I may have. I do not have a need to pick on people, and that is why I don't.

I hope that answered all your questions.

Wow Theo your doing a bang up job picking on people. So your basically a "do as I say not as I do" sort of guy. Somehow I don't think that this is a very Christian attitude your taking here.
