Hypno pope----another warm and affectionate answer. You are such a nice guy. Everyone will remember how you were so tolerant and encouraging of others. Look in your own eye before you try to help me with mine. You are the bully with a persecution complex.

Even my Atheist Dad admits 'somebody created this' world. (But of course in His folly denies the spiritual realm.) He doesn't see the nonsense of his oxymoron.

If they deny that!!!!!! Boy that's pitiful.

Let them come and we fill 'em up with God's Word and one day (by the grace of God) they'll say 'that Theo was right afterall.'

Wouldn't that be nice?

There are two definitions of 'spirituality'. One involves spirits and the supernatural. The other involves a feeling of connection to other people and the universe around us. I do not believe in a supernatural, so the first type is something I don't believe in. However, being under a clear, dark sky looking at the stars with a loved one is definitely a spiritual experience. Yes, I am an atheist.

Depends on what you mean by the word "spiritual".

The word "spiritual" really has a wide range of meanings. It can mean anything from a literal belief in spirits to a general awe or respect for the world around you. It can also just mean an emotional uplifting.

I don't believe in spirits. I'm frequently in awe at the world around me. I'm sometimes uplifted emotionally.

And I'm here to anwer questions. Though that last question really has nothing to do with "spirituality".

Spiritual is a hard concept to define. I don't believe it only concerns people who believe in the supernatural. It can encompass a whole range of experiences.

I am here because it is an open forum and I don't believe in censorship when it comes to the the discussion of religion.

I don't believe in God, I hold that no one can know if there is or isn't.

But I also believe in the spirit Lukaeleroh-- he is not a god and I will not bow to him, but he does exist and he does give results.

Spiritual is in the mind of the beholder. I am here because I am interested in other's beliefs.

You know, this isn't really a suitable question for Yahoo Answers. It's not called Yahoo Convert is it?

Theopneustos: Why would I side with him? I do not particularly like him and I disagree with much of what he says. I myself am not an Atheist per se. Irrespective of this, your questions are not suitable for Yahoo Answers.

I'm here to let religious people know that they can't pass laws based on their religious beliefs (banning stem cell research, banning gay marriage, banning abortion, etc.).

I find loving my family to be a spiritual experience. That has nothing to do with a supernatural force, though.

What do you mean by spiritual?
Is that about Ghosts and stuff going bump in the night?
Maybe you are asking about Wicca or the new age stuff ?
You sure don't seem very sure about your subject.

AND, when we talk about religion in"Cats" they ask us to leave.
