Yes. Atheists provide almost all of the correct answers here, and most of the mature advice.

You, on the other hand, are apparently here simply to post childish insults about your superiors*. This forum would be far better off without immature trolls like you.

* Yes, that's right, I said "superiors". Most of the people you're insulting are simply better than you in every way. That's the truth, and you're clearly well aware of that fact, kid. The pain of realizing your station in life shows through in your bitter, childish attempts to drag others down to your level.

Christian here...

Does the presence of Atheists here intimidate you? Does it make you feel defensive? Do you sometimes question your own beliefs because of the things that they say?

They are here because they have just as much to contribute to the discussion of R&S as a follower of any other faith. They have their own set of beliefs on the nature of God (nonexistent), the afterlife (also nonexistent), right and wrong (decided in large by society), and other aspects of spirituality.

And even if all they did do was attack you (which is not all that they do, with a few obnoxious exceptions--and obnoxious theists have got the obnoxious Atheists outnumbered here) then that should be making you ask questions of your own faith. It is throught those questions that you will grow.

And (since from your previous questions and answers I am assuming you are Christian) since God told you that you would be persecuted for your faith, they are helping to fulfill God's word in your life. Now stop being such a crybaby and do what Paul tells you to do: rejoice in it.

sure, i'm. that could be a great record, for the main section. i'd quibble over some factors: Tautologies are, via definition, logically sound. they are merely no longer information of something yet themselves. utilising a tautology in argument is many times Circulus in Probando, however the tautology itself isn't a fallacy. Reductio arguments, as reported, are thoroughly valid. the occasion would not produce a "fake reductio". it is an occasion of a Reductio in accordance with a Straw guy. The counterarguer has framed the author's argument against unidentified flying merchandise's as being based completely on the reality that he can no longer see them. The Reductio remains valid. The counter's representation of the author's argument isn't. ultimately, Slippery Slopes are no longer constantly fallacies, however they many times are. If a causal relationship between each and each "step" on the slope would be examined, the Slippery Slope is a valid argument. it is seldom the case, despite if it does happen occassionally.

Someone has to help the poor people that believe in a 'higher power'.

I mean seriously, you don't think that there is something disturbing about an adult who still believes in Santa or the Easter Bunny?

Or how about someone who truly believes that the wizard Harry Potter is alive and well in England right now?

I don't see a difference at all between these things, and people who have a strong sense of faith. But for some reason society allows it! It's ridiculous!

If somebody is an atheist it doesn't mean that they are not kind generous law abiding people with morals and standards that is not just restricted to people of some religious faith. Not all religious & spititual people are decent people and not all have morals and not all are law abiding from what I have witnessed. As in every walk of life there are good and bad everywhere. Lighten up

Curiosity. The same reason lots of Christians and others end up in the gay section, or the tattoo section.

Logic.

We'd like to think they are searching (being drawn) but most are here to ridicule us and display themselves as the lost, fools that they are.

Spiritual advice from an Atheist is so ridiculous. No positive there but negative only. i guess from their thinking they are trying to help us see the 'darkness'!!

Atheists think of it this way:
If we are wrong, then we'll know - with NO big consequence.
If we are right, then you'll know -be kicking yourself for eternity.

Who will lose out?????????!!!!!!!!! Hmmmmmmmmm!

They give not advice but their questions in general can get your brain going . I find they motivate me to search my bible to prove the bible to myself and find more scriptures to answer them. Great work atheists don't go away.
Any way this would be a boring site without the atheists

Having a problem with free debate?

Logical reason: I want to discuss religion. I want to understand why people believe in different things that have no evidence. I want to know why people kill each other over invisible men with different names. I am curious.
