2 Corintians 5:10
" For we must all be manifested before the Judgement seat of Christ that each one may receive the things done through the body according to what he has practiced, whether good or bad"

This is a very sobering verse for us as believers. There is the Great White Throne Judgement for the small and great before God to judge sinners. But for us, our works will be made manifest before Christ's judgement seat and tried by fire. What do you believe as a believer would cause your works to STAND or Perish as it is tried by the Lord.

(And no, going around spreading hate and negativity towards Christians, and insisting you KNOW that God doesn't exist doesn't count as a positive contrubution.)

I know for a fact that they are many people out there worse off than me, and to those that get through their situations that are worse than mine, I send them all the love and the respect in the world.

I know this sounds selfish, but sometimes I feel just like giving up, well not giving up just wanting to start over. I know that most people do this, and my question is...

What are some things that I can do to beat this?

How many of you have actually been in one? I have, and there were several atheists, a couple Pagans, and a very nice Hindu fella. None of them changed their normal responses, even when they died. The only way one goes against professed beliefs under duress, is if those claims were made by rebellious believers to begin with.

The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. If you've read it, what are your thoughts?

I'm only on Day 5 and already feel useless and not very positive.

This sound somewhat like a troll question, but it isn't. I teach biology and often get some push back from Christian students about evoloution. I understand my students, and I am ok with questioning (I actually encourage it). What I really wonder about is people who think evolution shouldn't be taught at all, what do they think would change in society?

I just asked a couple of religious questions and the bible believers got tons of thumbs down. Does this mean that the majority is non-christian or just that the non-christians are answering these questions?

Romans 8:2 (KJV) "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death".
- Matthew 22:36-40 says "the second" of such law law is "like the first", making 2nd law in Romans 8:2 sin & death.
- Romans 7 says "another law" made Paul feel "wretched"; is how 800,000 soldiers with PTSD also feel
- law vs law, divided against itself, shall fall to desolation no matter which law you go with or against
- Galatians 5:4 says if jusified by law then fallen from grace, and if fallen from grace to law, then Christ is of no effect to you
- 2Timothy 3:12 says all who live godly in CJ shall suffer. CJ is mirrorly reverse of JC: only foundation laid. CJ not in gospels.
- 2Corinthians 3 says law is both the ministration of condemnation and the ministration of death. No condemnation to them in CJ of Rom 8:1 seems to miss the part about law being a ministration of death; Perhaps why 2Cor3 says all law written in stone and ink is to be "done away".
