We are subject to many of the old testament laws when the Ten commandments are concerned. Because these are God's Law. We don't have to follow Jewish Law because Jesus came and was made a sacrifice for us. We live by the modern Laws of the Land. We would never take our children into the town's forefathers to have them stoned to death,or stone a woman to death for committing adultery (the man she committed this act with was not stoned) We are followers of Christ. We are not Jewish. We worship on Sunday because that is the Day that he rose from the dead.

Christ paid the price for our lawlessness, on the cross at Calvary. If we were still subject to the penalty of the law, then why did Christ choose to die on that cross? The law makes us aware of sin but it has no power or judgment over those sanctified through Christ Jesus. He paid the penalty for us, all we have to do now is believe in Him and devote ourselves to serving Him. We cannot "Work" our way into heaven (The Law) we simply need to have faith in Christ Jesus. He will cause us to do righteous works, His works, not of our own doing or choosing. The law exists today for un-believers. At the judgment seat of Christ, they will be judged by the law they held onto so dearly. Breaking the most insignificant part of the law, they will be found guilty of breaking all of the law and will be sent away forever. We are all guilty of breaking the law, only through Christ Jesus can we be found innocent and guiltless in His eyes. God Bless You...

I see a lot of partial answers the whole answer is.. We are ,subject to the Law. We have all broken that Law. WE daily still violate it. We, in Christ have been tried for this violation, found guilty, and in Christ executed for our sins. Now that justice is satisfied by death in the shedding of Blood. We are free from the penalties of the Law, having already been punished. Jim

Because the law is now written in our hearts. We do not have to do the works of the law because Christ, the perfect sacrifice, met the requirement of the law. Now Christ is our High Priest and is in us rather than having to go through the ritual of works which was in the law. How merciful God is.

Colossians 2:13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. 16 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.
Hebrews 10:11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

Because as a Christian we will be robed in the righteousness of Christ. This is where our salvation lies. We can never be good enough on our own. We are justified by accepting Christ's payment for our sins. God bless!!

We are no longer under the old law but now since Christ's death on the cross we are under Grace. It is by His Grace that we are saved.

The Glory of the Lord rest upon them through the Blood of Jesus.Just as Adam and Eve were naked and knew it not. They were clothed with the Glory of God which is without sin. When sin entered in they both knew that they were naked and hid themselves, covering their nakedness with fig leaves.Today we are covered with the sacrificial Blood of His Son.For those who except His Son this same Glory rest upon them as well as it did Adam and Eve..

All people who follow the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are subject to G-d's teaching (Torah)... those who deny are in for a rude awakening.
