I just asked a couple of religious questions and the bible believers got tons of thumbs down. Does this mean that the majority is non-christian or just that the non-christians are answering these questions?

Giving a thumbs down is easy. In fact it's easier to give a thumbs down that it is to answer a question. The thing is there have been questions that I've seen asked, and as I look at the answers I see already most believers have already said with I would have said. When this happens I shrug, and thank God that there are like minded Christians out there.
There has been a time or two (not many) that I've even given a fellow Christian a thumbs down. But 9.5 time out of 10, if I don't respond it's either because I a.) don't know the answer or b.) i've been beaten to the punch.

I think most Christians are not looking for spirituality on a web site. A lot of confused people are searching for truth, so they come to this site. When they read something that strikes a chord within their spirit, they have 2 choices, they can accept it and embrace it, or they can strike out and reject it. There is a lot of striking out and rejecting here.

Also, TRUE Christians do not spend time judging thumbs up and thumbs down. If they do see something they agree with, they will give a thumbs up, but they don't waste their time arguing with someone or giving a thumbs down. Non-Christians seem to be more eager to judge the "Judgmental Christians." All we can do is hope we plant a seed, and eventually, the non-Christians will see the truth and accept it with all of their heart.

Next time I talk to every single person who was on Y!A at the very same moment that you posted your question, I will ask them if they are Christians or non-Christians and if they gave a thumbs up or down.

Christians tend to be extremely passive, and rather not ask questions let alone challenging questions that may cause some to be offended. I personally believe that Christians should be more out spoken rather than allow others to dominate this site discrediting the principles of Christianity openly while Christians keep silent. Loving and praying for others doesn't mean that we should remain on the sidelines of life and never take a firm stand for God in the face of adversity.

Its because christians arent the only religion. I have nothing against most religions just the ones that think they are superior. Im a christian and sometimes i feel superior because of my belief. I dunno about all that but trust in faith. The bible has been rite for a long time these new theories and religions havent atheist is new a long time ago u would have been killed for saying that u dont believe in the bible. The bible is rite as long as you believe in it

try thinking of it this way- When we as Christians, do ask and answer questions here someday some unbeliever may want to know more about Jesus. Be positive about this, because then we can share the love of Christ with others who do not know Him. Getting thumbs down from those who do not believe is really nothing to be concerned about. Who are we trying to please, God or man? I understand your concern though. I have had the same in the past.

The real question is:

Will they be giving the "thumbs down" when standing before the Great White Throne Judgement? Or maybe they will try to report the Christ because their names are not written in the lamb's book of life, in the hopes of getting his "account" cancelled?

I don't understand the relevance of your question. This is the religion and spirituality section, NOT the Christian country club, so why do expect and or assume that "Christians" will be the majority ?

Also, how to you define Christianity ? If you define Christianity very narrowly, then you will find that Christians, by your definition are the minority everywhere. (for example, do you exclude Catholics, Mormons, JW's and non-fundamentalist Christians from your definintion ? )

There are more non-religious people than religious people on the internet. This is because if you believe in magic, you generally can't use computers.

The internet is for pornography and marketing with much smaller sections of personal webpages and other garbage.
