Romans 8:2 (KJV) "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death".
- Matthew 22:36-40 says "the second" of such law law is "like the first", making 2nd law in Romans 8:2 sin & death.
- Romans 7 says "another law" made Paul feel "wretched"; is how 800,000 soldiers with PTSD also feel
- law vs law, divided against itself, shall fall to desolation no matter which law you go with or against
- Galatians 5:4 says if jusified by law then fallen from grace, and if fallen from grace to law, then Christ is of no effect to you
- 2Timothy 3:12 says all who live godly in CJ shall suffer. CJ is mirrorly reverse of JC: only foundation laid. CJ not in gospels.
- 2Corinthians 3 says law is both the ministration of condemnation and the ministration of death. No condemnation to them in CJ of Rom 8:1 seems to miss the part about law being a ministration of death; Perhaps why 2Cor3 says all law written in stone and ink is to be "done away".

Many in CJ pride themselves of being free of condemantion, based on Romans 8:1; But forget law is both a ministration of condemnation and a ministration of death: 2Corinthians 3. So skipping the condemnation part does not also skip the death part. Only in Christ of Jesus-->Christ do we skip the death part, by the abolition of law.
As for Mt 5:17; it's allegory, which says I am (grace) not come to destroy (law), but to fulfill (grace). It's one verse, which when compared to all other verses, is better understood, that grace is not law. Grace neither tempts (laws) nor can be tempted (lawed). Grace cannot lie(law) nor die(law). Law Law does both; no matter which law of law vs law you take.

Before Jesus came, we were not able to able to paid the price of sin (death), and be alive. God send Jesus Christ his only begotten Son, who was with out sin, to pay the price of death for our sin. We are now by the grace of God saved alive from the sin. and the law. We now can live by faith. and follow God's commandments, and believing in Jesus Christ.
WE are free from the curse of the law. Those that live by the law shall die by the law. Live by faith, and faith shall set you free,\.

It could be that you have been programmed to see it that way. The only Law being talked about in most of these references is the Law of Sin and Death, which basically means that "You sin, you die". The Faith that we have sets us free from this part of the Law, sometimes called the curse of the Law. But this does not mean that now that we are in Messiah that we may break God's Laws with immunity. We will not lose our salvation, but we will lose our rewards if we sin knowingly. If we are in the New Covenant, the Laws are supposed to be written upon our hearts. How then can we believe that those Laws have been done away with? What has been done away was the old way of looking at those Laws, without the Spirit. Now that the Messiah has come, we have a new approach to them, one immersed in the Spirit of the Messiah, helping us to walk as he walked. Now we can see that Jesus magnified the Law, and Paul "established" it. If we interpret Paul's words to mean that God's Laws are abolished, and no more, then we are not following Jesus. Jesus said that whoever breaks the least of the Commandments and teaches others to do the same, he will be the least in the kingdom. This is because Lawkeeping is a good thing, and a Spiritual person understands this through intimate discussion with our Father and the Word.
PS1 The first commandment is to love Yahweh (the LORD) with all your heart, soul and might. The second is to love your fellow man. Both of these are understood to be reductions of God's Laws into 2 categories, the first 4 commandments are covered by the first, and the last 6 commandments are covered by the second. The second one is NOT the law of sin and death!! That is a totally different discussion than the one that the Messiah is having.
PS2 The law of sin and death made Paul feel wretched, not the Commandments of God. Paul loved God, and understood his commands to be wise and worth trying to keep.
PS3 Galatians is understood correctly, one cannot earn salvation by keeping the Law written on stone! One must trust in the perfect salvation given by the Messiah. Now you can obey or not obey based on your love for him, hopefully we will learn to obey.
PS4 2Cor3 shows that the veil hindered our understanding of the Law, now that we are in Messiah, that veil should be taken away, not the Law!! When we are led by God's Spirit, we see the wisdom and beauty of God's Laws because we have the eyes of the Spirit. As we do this, we become more like the Messiah, the perfect fulfillment of Body and Spirit.
Time does not permit an explanation of why so many teach as if the Law is a bad thing, but if you read the Gospels and Romans, especially chapter 8 verse 7, it explains it quite clearly.

Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Read and read it until you will understand it. It will take me long period if I will answer all what you are asking It should be one at a time only.

Hi Godshew,
Read Mathew 5-17, then answer this question: Who is your Saviour, Paul, or Jesus? Most Christian "traditions" are based on the writings of Paul, not Jesus. Whose disciple are you? Peace be unto you................
