Brothers and sisters, I got this mail from a friend here on Y!A.. I shall not say his name.. but shall paste his mail:
"Subject: Hello
Message: Dear lawrance,
I’m a Shiat Muslim, or Muslim Shiat, as (Muslim) must be introduced before any other name. This is the name Allah named us.
I am sorry for my previous threats to you, I listened open mindedly to your questions and asked my Imam in the masjid, he said that not all sunna are Saddam, he also said that a good Shiat hates no body specially another muslim who believe in one Allah and Mohamed and loves the household of the prophet, and he told me that sunnas brothers also love and respect the family of the prophet, he told me that Al Hussien is known by sunna as great Wali and people travel to pray in his masjid in Egypt and they call him (the master of the youth of heaven). ---> Continue...

Sunnas are brothers from now on, no hate mails no more. We all believe in one God, one prophet, one Koran.

Spiderman; Ahl Al Sunna wal Jama'a are not a certain Sect.. They're people who follow the Quran and teachings of the prophet PBBUH.
according to this verse, dividing ourselves to sects is Haram...
"Lo! As for those who sunder their religion and become schismatics, no concern at all hast thou with them. Their case will go to Allah, Who then will tell them what they used to do." 6:159
J%: Have you seen the difference between Spiderman and you?

We all believe in Allah, believe in the Prophet, we hold Al-Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet and we all love members of the Prophet's household. Sunni even revere Ali, Hassan and Hussein greatly. We have much more in common than differences.

while the Prophet Mohammed died, he didn’t bypass away an instantaneous successor to maintain on through fact the top of Islam. He instead needed it to be a style of democracy and reported Islam replaced into to not have any pope like determine wherein one individual might lead the Muslim international. The chop up got here approximately while Muhammad elected his Uncle to be the recent Caliph of Islam, yet his nephew Ali replaced into already his successor. So the biggest rift is the Sunni Muslims accompanied Abu’Bakker and the Shi’ite accompanied Ali. There are additionally distinctive little stupid issues that became via the years, yet they the two save on with the Quran and all of the failings in it.

Well, Well, Well, Look who is asking this question. I 100% agree with J%M. Finally someone on here other then AQ who will speak the truth. The Shiia are even saying different shahada then Muslims. They Worship men unlike Muslims. They abuse the Prophet's(s.a.w) companions. They Celebrate Omar's death. They Pray differently. They believe the Quran has been changed and parts are missing. I have seen them with my own eyes spitting on the Companions of Prophet Muhammed's(S.a.w) graves. Asking a question like this proves you do not know about your religion and your clueless. If your so weak read before you ask the Questions. Maybe your addicted to the shiia or you love them. I heard your half shiia anyway and your working for Iran to spread their lies...what they call religion. They do have religion and it is seperate from Islam and Muslims. The hypocrites they said the Shahada at Prophet Muhammed's(S.A.W) time and they will not smell the heavens forever. This is like everyone saying christians will go to heaven when they believe in polytheism. Prophet Muhammed(SAW) never prayed for hypocrites.
Marhamah~, you are ughhhh I won't even say. But you are no one to question someone else in what they can say. You said Muslims are ok to shirk as long as they say the shahada. Who are you to say this? What makes you better then J%M when that person is saying the truth....

I always looked at Shias as fellow Muslims, nothing more, nothing less. I used to do a lot of prayers in Masjid Al-Hussein "Lucky me" and it never crossed my mind that I should not pray in this Masjid because of the name. After all, Al-Hussein belongs to the Muslim nation as a grand son of Mohammed (PBUH).

A misguided soul... why didn't he ask his Imam first and then come back to you.. its 2nd largest country in the world for oil and yet they pay more money for Gas then some of the poorest countries in the world.
Its self oppression and self destruction
Muhammed SAW told us the deen is perfect and he also said to us what will happen to his grandchildren.. he was dead when they separated.. so there is only human error here and you only have to look at the mass populated areas to see that error breading and living for 1300 years. Conspiracy yes.. exists in Islam too Salam

The Ethics of Disagreement in Islam
We need to be fully conscious of the dangers of this situation and make sincere attempts to deal with the roots of the crisis of Muslim disunity. To begin with, we need to restore "the dimension of faith" in the hearts of Muslims. This dimension has almost ceased to be the primary factor in regulating Muslim relationships. This is the result of a distorted understanding of Islam, harmful practices, and the pressures and impositions of non-Islamic societies. The restoration of the faith dimension and a sound understanding of Islam are the only true guarantees for rectifying our relationships, getting rid of our differences, and removing all traces of rancor from our hearts. How comforting and how delightful this would be! A sound knowledge and understanding of Islam would give us a proper appreciation of the various categories of actions: what is recommended or permissible, what is compulsory or obligatory, and so on. We would be able to keep before us the higher objectives of our striving and be wary of constant jostling with one another via argumentation and discord. We have undoubtedly lost the ethics and norms of proper Islamic behavior and the proper regard for moral imperatives and have thus fallen an easy prey to internal disintegration and internecine strife. This is the legacy of what the Qur'an calls "a narrow and constricted existence" and a life of failure. We have ended up in impotence and ruin. Such indeed was the warning of God: "And do not dispute with one another lest you fail and your moral strength desert you" (8: 46).
The Qur'an relates to us the history of the followers of earlier prophets that we may derive lessons and warnings from them. It shows clearly how nations rise, how civilizations are built, and how they flourish. It also shows how they decline. We are warned that decline and downfall are direct consequences of disunity and the disease of discord and sliding into narrow factionalism:
And be not among those who ascribe divinity to any but Allah, [or] among those who have broken the unity of their faith and have become sects, each group delighting in what they themselves believe and follow (30: 312).
Disputes which lead to division and disunity are tantamount to abandoning the guidance of the Prophet and becoming alienated from him. God addresses the Prophet Muhammad in the Qur'an with regard to "those who have broken the unity of their faith and have become sects" and says: "You have nothing to do with them" (6: 159). This verse expresses a condemnation of all sectarianism arising out of people's intolerant, mutually-exclusive claims to being "the only true exponents" of divine teachings.
This verse is applicable to followers of revelation which predated the Qur'an; their problem was not that they had too little knowledge or that their knowledge was misleading; their undoing was that they used that knowledge to commit injustice and sow mutual antagonisms: "The followers of earlier revelation differed among themselves only after knowledge had come to them, out of mutual jealousy" (3: 19). In the light of this verse we may well ask if Muslims are really the proper custodians of the last authentic divine revelation and the true knowledge and guidance it contains, or whether they are inheritors of the weaknesses of these followers of earlier revelation, their tendency to mutual jealousy and hatred, and the other patterns of destructive behavior they have set.
