Why is it easy to type idiotic attacks on Christians when you ought to know full well that every moron who does this sort of thing only strengthens our position? Are you just waiting to lead an army of drooling dumbasses in your perpetual and completely pointless war against Christianity? Find something useful to do, and leave God out of it if that's the way you feel.

actually proving nonexistent things is easy 1+1 = 2 see :D but seriously. "nonexistent" is pretty relative, you could say that the concepts of physics and math are nonexistent but is easily proven through rigorous proofs. And you can't prove the existence of things like a carrot. What if the world we lived in is like the matrix where our minds are being controlled by a big computer? It can happen. Unfortunately I know nothing of philosophy so I can't really elaborate :x

Hah Hah That was funny, It's hard to prove, as we now find, because science deals with one end the material and spirituality deals with emotions, people and the human spirit, the other end of knowledge. God is like the theory of everything, it's hard to find and discerned deductively but not difficult inductively. It's as complicated as anything alive, like people, social science and awareness. It's too deep a study by the greatest minds in history to be passed off casually. It's discerned by the whole brain that can handle vast amounts of information and revealed through intuition, prayer, visions and dreams. The whole world of the mind follows different rules as does Quantum Physics and is hard to reconcile with general physics, because the rules are different. You start with reading a whole sacred text and use the intuition to understand it in it's own context. The mind compares pictures and any discrepencies, non matches, are self evident. Pictures don't lie as billions are compared with all our knowledge.. By analogy it's as if everything is in a grid similar to all the categories in the library along the top and coming down the side all your experiences and knowledge on a specific subject. Where the subjects intersect we can add more information and compare it with all the other 'slots' or whatever term we wish. That not only checks and double checks but implies other information by analogy with other subjects and images, videos, sounds, sights, smells, feelings and the like. Of course it's really at least four dimensional, much as the stacks go back in the library and the shelves up. So it says, awareness and intelligence of some kind. The mind experiences live live from the inside by being part of it rather than just looking at it or just analysing it. It is entirely scientific, without bias and uses fantasy for, among other things, to get outside of reality to see where it can be added to, it's scope and nature. We really aren't taught in school how to think, but what to think. It's partly a control thing.

I'm not sure it would be so easy to prove the existence of a carrot. Give it a try and see how you get on.
As for proving the nonexistence of God (I think that's what you meant) there is an old saying: "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence." Those of us who do not believe in god are still waiting for some evidence of his existence: those who do believe in god think the evidence is already there, but can't seem to agree amongst themselves what it is and what it means.

Because you prove things by offering proof of them. With a carrot I could say here is the carrot you can see, it touch it taste it, and smell it. It exists. With a non existent thing like god there is no proof it exists. So you have no proof to offer.

because people need proof. They can hold a carrot. Eat it. Investigate it.
They can't do that physically with God and when you ask the big questions like how the Universe was created, it's too much for most people and they don't want to think about it.
People choose not to make the decision whether they believe or not. Give them proof and they will, but until then they're happy to sit on the fence

God is the most difficult concept to prove, because the concept kept changing with time and the evolution of man. Today, it is more difficult because of the emotion and the passion involved. Even a tiny spark is enough to start a mighty war, violence, terrorism etc. No one wants to know the truth, but they would like to hear that the god they are propogating is correct, even if it is not true.

as you said it God is nonexistent, so how can we prove he exists. You can eat the carrot and touch it, but you can't touch God.
