The dictionary says "good" is to be "morally excellent." Let s look at God s moral standard the Ten Commandments, and see how we do. Is God first in your life? Do you love Him with "heart, mind, soul and strength?" Have you made a god to suit yourself? Have you used His name in vain? Have you always honored your parents? Have you looked with lust and therefore committed adultery in your heart? Have you lied (including "fibs"), stolen (the value is irrelevant), or coveted other people s possessions? If you are honest, you know you will be guilty on the Day of Judgment. God, however, doesn t want to send you to Hell. Jesus Christ suffered and died on the Cross, so you could go free. That s how much God loves you. We broke God s Law, but Jesus took our punishment and died on the cross. He then rose from the grave defeating death. If you repent (turn away from all the things you know are wrong) and trust in Him, God will forgive your sins and grant you everlasting life. Begin by reading your Bible daily and then obey what you read. God will never let you down.

Our bodies work in amazing ways! To read this, your eyes are scanning, your brain is processing and storing data; meanwhile, you continue to breathe, blink, and much more is going on all at once in your wonderfully created body. How have you used your body throughout your life so far? Have you ever used your mouth to lie? Your hands to steal? Your heart to lust (adultery of the heart)? God, who created our bodies has given us His law (the 10 commandments) and we just went through three of them. Statistically, 10 out of 10 people die and 10 out of 10 have also not kept God s law. Your body may stop working at any moment! What happens then? It is appointed for man once to die and after this, the judgment (Heb 9:27). How will you do on judgment day by God s standard? If you are honest, you know you will be guilty on that day, with Hell being the punishment. God, however, does not want to send you to Hell. Jesus Christ suffered and died on the Cross, so you could go free.

Could anyone tell me what these signs are? And please be specific - not something general that has been around mankind for ages like wars or earthquakes, etc.

I may be mistaken, but it seems that some of the biggest modern religions do not let women become spiritual leaders. They can become nuns and deacons, but I haven't heard of any priestesses in Catholic churches. I've heard of a few female pastors in Protestant churches, but not many. What do female followers of these religions think of this? Does it not seem a bit degrading that you are not an equal in your religion?

- which one would you choose? I don't mean just follow the rules of that religion; rather, you would actually for that month 'be' a member of that faith.

I can't help it. I'm at my wit's end. I've prayed every night, for a long time. I've asked God to heal my heart, to give me a sign, to give me peace and I'm still a wreck. Even in the toughest spots in my life I've always believed in a divine force. I'm starting to doubt that I have a purpose. Why won't He show me the way? This is the loneliest I've ever felt, there's only emptiness.

Religion is of man.
There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12

The alleged counter argument - "Prove god doesn't exist." is the sign of a weak intellect that is unwilling to put in effort to find answers. They make a claim then go sit on their lazy azz and tell someone else to do the work.

When a person or a party makes claim about something like the existence of god, evolution, gravity or the tooth fairy they are the ones that carry the "burden of proof".

In other words their argument that "Well prove he doesn't exist" is completely contrary to standards of the scientific method and general inquiry.

Let's say I make the claim that I can cure cancer. I bear the burden of proof. It is up to me to publish my findings and evidence so that the skeptics can evaluate my evidence and attempt to duplicate my results.

So, those that claim god does indeed exist are the ones that bear the burden of proof and have to provide to the world their findings and evidence.

He himself said they would (John 14:12)?

Why aren't they raising the dead, turning water into wine, feeding multitudes from a very small amount of food, walking on water?

Yes, sarcasm is added in the above inquiry...

20For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification],

21Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.

22Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves]. Romans 1:20-22

Does this mean we are without excuse?
