Christians like to say "If you were wrong you go to hell, but if I were wrong then what did I loose?"
Do you Christians use this statement to make you feel less vulnerable and insecure?
Are you trying to confirm yourself that you are not being brainwashed?
If you are so sure about your beliefs then why even come up with that statement. It means that you Christians have doubts in your heart, therefore you need some sort of assurement that you did not believe your religion in cost of something.
"IF I were WRONG". You see that you say 'IF", which means that you are open to possiblities of you being "WRONG".
I would never say, "IF I happened to be gay". Because I am 100% sure I am not, so if you Christians say the word "IF" you are not a 100% sure of your beliefs. If you are not even sure of yourself then why do try to rant about how great God is? Christians clear your doubts before speaking about your beliefs please. Your statement just disclaimed you.

Jesus said:“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15

The key words are Believe and REPENT.

The Bible says: You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! James 2:19

If you only have faith or just believe you have a demon faith. What seperates a true Christian from one who is a Christian in name only is the one who repents.

If you repent (turn away from all the things you know are wrong) and trust in Him, God will forgive your sins and grant you everlasting life.

They follow me around and gang up to have my questions and answers removed all of the time....I think that this is awesome, because if they are so insecure in their faith, that they take the time to make sure I do not have a voice.......Must be hitting a nerve...must be that I am telling the truth.

WHAT is that accomplishing? We will never all agree or think completely the same way, even if we do share the same religion. Is it NOT OK to accept that we are all at different points in our lives, different levels of faith, with varying views on what our faith means?

Men will be Judged by their works. Revelation 20:12-13, "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,[a] and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were JUDGED ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were JUDGED, each one ACCORDING TO HIS WORKS."

And Hebrews 5:9 says, "And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him."

And they point to Ephesians 2:8-9, yet verse 10 says we are created for good works.

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe you earn salvation, but I do believe you must submit to Christ in obedience!

James 2 says that we are justified (saved) by works, with our faith. The only verse in the Bible that uses the phrase "faith only" says we are "Justified... not by faith only"! (James 2:24)

Is it a sin for a Christian pharmacist to honor a prescription for Viagra, if he doesn't know for sure that it will be used - within the confines of marriage - to procreate?

Hey, I am a Christian and I have struggled all my life with my sexuality. I am not gay, but I am aroused sexually both my females and certain males. I have read verses, surrounded myself with women, and dating girls, but nothing has changed. I am not so much afraid as criticism as I am not serving my Lord properly and being what I once bashed...it was very wrong of me, because I forgot that everyone is human and we as servants of God are not to judge.

I want some help with this. If I cannot defeat it, I would like some verses or resources that will help it be less of my life until eventually I disregard it. As I said, I am not really 'gay'- I still have an eye for women and in fact can only imagine being intimate or sharing a relationship with one.

The Earth is shaped like a sphere (round) and rotates:

Isaiah 40:22 (746-680 BC)

[It is] he that sitteth upon the circle (the Hebrew word for 'circle' can also mean a 'sphere') of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Luke 17:34-36
I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed;
the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Two shall be grinding together;
the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two shall be in the field;
the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Luke 17:34-36 depicts Christ's Second Coming as happening while some are asleep at night and others are working at day-time activities in the field, an indication of a rotating earth with day and night at the same time.

I really don't know that much about the religions, so I decided to ask those who know. I would like to present my girlfriend (Wiccan) with a dagger emblazoned with my personal meditation sigil. Would this be an acceptable gift? If not, please explain the reason.
