If someone doesn't believe any god exists, they are an atheist.
If they believe there is a god, then they are a theist. Some theists claim to not have a religion, but really that's mincing words. Any set of beliefs in the existence of one or more gods is a religion. However, some people think of it as the institution around that belief.

You're probably thinking of atheists.
However, more specifically, the first three definitions of "religion" in the dictionary have to do with a belief in a supernatural being or beings or a "force".The fourth definition of religion in the dictionary is as follows:
"A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion."
So, I don't know if anyone could really say they don't have a religion of some kind.

No, Atheist would not be your answer. Atheist is one who does not believe in God. A person with out a Religion CAN still believe in God. No they are not Agnostic either, as an Agnostics claim either that it is not possible to have absolute or certain knowledge of God or gods; or, alternatively, that while individual certainty may be possible, they personally have no knowledge. Agnosticism in both cases involves some form of skepticism.

A person without a religion is called a secularist.
A person who denies the existence of a god is called an atheist.
I prefer to be called a scientist.

Agnostic....they don't say there is no God,,they just want physical proof..Step outside people..there's your proof...this is not a world built on random chance..this is the place I came from...I know all the arguments...
An atheist is one who denies the existence of God. They are just not bright enough to even consider that a Creator may have made this world and them..hopeless for the most part....still...you never know...
if Mr, Ohare can live through what he did, growing up with such a Mama as he had,,,totally ungodly,,, and turn to God...there is hope for them....

If a person doesnt have a religion dose not nessciarily make them athiest( dose not believe in any supreme being), they could be agnostic(Unsure esentially) or they could believe an a supreme being but just do not affilate with any religion and are just spiritual.

A religion is something that you believe in which is absolute truth. Therefore, there is noone (with a rational mind) who "doesn't have" a religion. Atheism in itself is a religion since they believe that there is no GOd and they claim that as an absolute truth, hence they practice an atheistic religion.

Someone who has no religion is secular.
Theism, deism, and atheism are positions on the existence of gods. Agnosticism and gnosticism are positions on knowledge or the lack there of. None of these position necessarily address religious adherence.

I have no religion I dont slap a label on myself... whats the point.
Not everyone who doesn't claim a religion is an atheist,, never ceases to amaze me how much people study their bibles and dont educate themselves in other endeavors.
