No it is not. Many have kids and they can't support them I was on birth control many years and God still loves me and He loves you to Genesis says to be fruitful and multiply but there were only Adam and Eve at that time also I have heard it said that people who wait to have kids are selfish, I am pro life and I love Jesus but what I think is selfish is people having babies in less than ideal situations and expecting other people to support them.
I could not have children and if I did I would be in danger and so would my baby so out of love and obedience to God I did not have children and I am not selfish. Honey, you have to do what is right for you because all the people who say it is a sin to use contraption are not going to be the ones to pay for all your babies needs.
No taking birth control is not a sin, just bear in mind nothing even the pill is fool proof and you can get pregnant even taking the pill or other methods.
God bless you E4G

I don't think so. I'm a Christian. But you MUST research the type of birth control. Read about IUD's more, and you'll see how it might be considered abortion. The same thing with some states, they consider abortion a form of birth control. While you must make this decision, you also must learn about it, like all other things of this earth. oh.. and I'm on the pill.. it's basically just UP-ing my hormone levels. So there....

No taking birth control is not a sin. Are you a christian? Are ya saved. John 3 verse 16 . For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotton son that whosoever believeth in Jesus should not perish but have everylasting life. To be saved one must realize he is a sinner and needs a Savoir if you ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you he will. God timing is perfect. What does your husband desire! Have you guys set down and talked it over. I would like to give you more advice if you like. The bible does say be fruitful and multiply. God knows your heart allow him to lead you, but it is not a sin.

Yes, because children are seen as a gift from God; if you take birth control, you're basically refusing his gifts. If you're married, you should be accepting the children God gives your family, and if you're not married, you shouldn't be having sex. There is no excuse for birth control whatsoever.

No.
In the beginning, God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.
But, now the earth is OVERfilled to the point where the overpopulation has hurt the planet and the human race as a whole.
Birth control has now become the responsible choice.

I asked my Preacher about this when I first got saved.....I was worried about the scripture, that says we are to be fruitful and multiply...He laughed and said, "Look around you, the world has been populated"" so I continued to take them.....I agree....but if you feel differently, I think you should do what you feel is right...don't ever do anything you feel is wrong.

No , because birth control doesn't kill the fetus , the child , it prevents ovulation , therefore there isn't an abortion

It can be seen that way, since God said the only reason for having sex should be to have kids....
Anyway, even if I were atheist I wouldn't take it(the male pill...coming soon) because putting chemicals in your body like that can probably do some serious harm...

Who cares? Personally, I don't run my life according to what ancient superstitious people thought. We've progressed a lot since then.
Sin is an outdated concept. Instead, use your own brain. You know the pros and cons of using birth control, and it ultimately comes down your decision anyway.
There are risks and benefits to using birth control. I think that birth control is a great thing. Otherwise, people would just have babies by accident and not really plan for introducing a child into the world.
