if you do, do you think there should be exceptions made in the case of rape?

Yes. And no. No exceptions for anything, the unborn baby whose life is taken has done nothing wrong no matter what outside factors are in place.
How about not having a "morning after", oh yeah, I forgot that isn't an option.

I don't consider it a sin, I do consider it poor planning (at the least) and irresponsibility (at the most).
Granted, once in awhile a person could 'forget' her daily pill and need reassurance the next day. But, just as abortion is wrong "as a birth control method", so, too, is the morning after pill.
There's an old myth about a woman who kills her mother to 'be with' daddy. And the gods have her on trial. She has a lawyer who's doing the standard defenses: it was the heat of the moment, it was an accident, its the laws of the land fault, it was peer pressure, etc. She stood up and told the lawyer to shut up and said "Of my will I killed mom to be with dad; I did it because I could (and I still think I should be able to get away with it). Well, the gods dropped their teeth !!! LOL
Why! Because until that time, no one had taken responsibility for their choices and actions and it was totally unprecedented.
It ain't rocket science, if you are going to be sexual; take your pill as prescribed.

No, I don't see anything wrong with the morning after pill, provided your using it with the man you are married to.
I think many people confuse Plan B, aka The morning after pill, with RU-486, aka the abortion pill.
The difference between the two is far and wide. In fact, if you were to take the morning after pill while you were pregnant, there would be no known side effects.
Plan B works by giving a large dose of hormones and essentially "tricking" a women's body into believing it is already pregnant, therefore another egg may not be fertilized.
RU-486 is intended to abort already successful pregnancies; not to prevent them.

Wow, that's a tough one. The sin starts with (if you are unmarried) premarital sex. If you were raped, then that is not your fault, therefore not a sin on your part, but on the rapist's.
In my opinion, taking the morning after pill is a sin. Because if you are pregnant, it's taking a life of an innocent fetus. Not that I'm not guilty of sin, I am. But to use any kind of abortion as a form of birth control is wrong. And as much as most women say that it's no big deal, you don't know how you will feel after the fact, maybe even years down the road, about aborting a child. If you were raped, I believe it's still wrong. Because there are other options if you don't want to keep the baby, such as adoption.
I understand that you simply asked a question and you might not be asking about yourself. But, the question was asked and I have given you my honest opinion. The one who can give you the right answer is God. If you are a praying person, why not take this question to Him in sincere prayer. God does answer prayer. Peace.

Im not christian but Im buttin my nose in here anyhow. The morning after pill is not an abortion. The sperm has not met the egg yet therefore there isnt life to abort. Thats why its supposed to be taken 72 hours after sex. Hench the name morning after pill they dont call it the you had sex two months ago take this and crap out a baby pill. It will NOT work if implantation of a embryo has already taken place.

I'd like to think someone was smart enough to usurp the many items to use as an always constant measure. I think since the girl does not know if she's pregnant or not God would understand if she really was against getting pregnant at that time. He loves us you know and I heard aborted babies are in heaven--surprise!! In the case of rape definitely the ladies choice and that is something between her and God and no one else should judge.

Yes and no. One sin doesn't mean another is okay. If the child of rape is too painful to the mother, she should give it up for adoption. The moment a child is conceived, it has a life and a soul. No abortions should be permitted excepting cases in which the mother is at risk.

I don't think it's a sin, but I don't think it should be taken...that could really mess up your body(you know putting chemicals that kill into your body)...
I think if someone is raped, their first instinct is an abortion(or morning after), but I think there would probably be a couple out there who would be willing to adopt the child that they should look into that. Even though they went through something horrific they could bring some kind of happiness out of it by giving their kid to someone who can't have kids themselves...

It is a sin, again in the case of a rape it still is but it is worth some meaningful thinking.

On this issue I can't speak for other Christians, only myself. I believe all life is precious, was created by God and should be left in His hands. By the way, the rape argument covers so small a number it should be considered insignificant in any discussion of the issue.
