It is clear that we have free will, all the ability, all the sense to know right from wrong etc... Our entire galaxy is tiny in the entire universe and basically we are quite insignificant in the whole scale of things. So why should we go to church wasting time praising when its quite clear the best way to honor God would be to get off our butt holes and start using those talents, achieve, build, create, learn and reach the stars!

Seriously, because quite frankly, I'm confused. When we are silent, people keep stating we all approve of terrorism. When we speak out, no matter how short or long it is, it's called Spam. I have noticed that since I've started speaking out and showing what Islam really says, those who state that not a single muslim speaks out have stopped saying this. So, should muslims speak out and work against terrorism which you call spam, or should we remain silent and let you happily continue on in chosen ignorance about the fact that most muslims don't approve of terrorism?

I've heard this alot in the last few days, people saying that Darwin thought the evolution of the eye was impossible:

"To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree."

I'm sure everyone who posts something like this knows that it is a misquote, the remainder being as follows:

I am refering mainly to Deuteronomy. God really lays down the law in Deuteronomy. The first thing you'll have to do is kill people. Lots and lots of people. Here's just a partial list.

Kill any prophets or "dreamers of dreams" if they say or dream the wrong things. 13:1-5, 18:20

Kill everyone with religious beliefs that are different than your own. (Including your family, friends, and neighbors) 13:6-10, 13:12-16, 17:2-7

Kill rebellious or disobedient sons 21:18-21, adulterers 22:22, and rape victims if they fail to cry out loud enough. 22:23-24

Besides killing, though, there are some other things that you must do.

Destroy the altars, images, and places of worship of those with different religions. 7:5

Cut off a woman's hand if she touches the "secrets" of a man who is fighting with her husband. "And thine eye shall not pity her." 25:11-12

And Sexism,

If you see a pretty woman among the captives then just take her home and "go in unto her." 21:11-14

WHY GOD NEVER RECEIVED A PHD

2. It was in Hebrew.

3. It had no references.

4. It wasn't published in a refereed journal.

5. Some even doubt he wrote it by himself.

6. It may be true that he created the world, but what has he done since then?

7. His cooperative efforts have been quite limited.

8. The scientific community has had a hard time replicating his results.

9. He never applied to the ethics board for permission to use human subjects.

10. When one experiment went awry he tried to cover it by drowning his subjects.

11. When subjects didn't behave as predicted, he deleted them from the sample.

12. He rarely came to class, just told students to read the book.

13. Some say he had his son teach the class.

14. He expelled his first two students for learning.

15. Although there were only 10 requirements, most of his students failed his tests.

Your Sunni brothers and sisters respect Ali Ibn Abi Talib رضى الله عنه and recognize Him as a Caliph, a good Wali of Allah, and the First young man to believe Muhammad our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم.

Wont it be fair that you show some respect the the Companions of the Prophets loved by your brothers? is it proper for a Muslim to hate another Muslim who died 1400 years ago? I say; a Muslim is not a hater.. fullstop!

What do you think?

I personally think so, as they don't follow Islam and have called a lot of their culture Islam. They've also incorporated their culture into Shariah, such as death for apostasy, when Islam says to leave them alone. What is your take on this? Have you heard of the following before?

"Offices in the Islamic states were given to those who were best qualified, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds. For example, Ibn Athal, a Christian physician, was the private doctor of the caliph Muawya, the founder of the Umayyad state. Another Umayyad caliph, Abdul-Malik Ibn Marwan, appointed two Christians, Athnasius and Isaac, to top positions in the state of Egypt. Adud Al-Dawla, an Abbassid caliph, made Nasr Ibn Haroun, a Christian, his prime-minister, giving him authority to rule over Iraq and southern Persia."

Jesus said "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Leaving aside absurdities such as suicidal people being olbligated under this rule to kill others, but by using using this rule to put ourselves into the shoes of another, does the Golden Rule provide the best and ultimate means to resolve ethical questions?
