The bible states that people should be careful of false teachers who will attempt to lead them away from the path. What if Christ is the one who is the false teacher that he himself warned of. Its a common tactic to say be careful of something and be the one you are warning others of, no one would think that someone would warn of themselves. Besides it has been shown in history that some of the biggest tyrants and deranged religious people have warned of false teachers and told their followers to be wary of them for they will try to lead them away.

So what if Christ is the false teacher that people have been warned against.

I believe that all religious manuscripts were written by men who claimed to be inspired by their respective god. Who wrote the bible, the old and the new testament? Why do preachers always say "And god said". and god want". I don't believe that god said anything nor did say he wanted anything. Who wrote the Koran and other religious books? Men, by people like you and me

My Ten Year old daughter is terrified because she has seen a ghost of a teen aged girl in my closet attached to my bathroom. The previous Occupants Husband died here and I have not told her this but I can feel a presence and have seen two ghosts also (an elderly Indian Man-who matches the description of the deceased Husband and a girl with long blonde hair). How can I get these ghosts to leave?

I am quite confused. Others say that they call people who lived like Christ and died in Him a saint or others say that to be called a "saint" is to be a "holy" one. Catholic has so many saints. Why do they think someone is holy, if they really don't know what was inside their hearts? Only God is holy. Only God can look into the heart of a human. I don't intend to offend anyone, but I am sorry if it sounds like that. I am just asking because I am confused. I think I have read a part of the bible where Peter said something about a saint or saints..

What is a "saint"?

Alright. I'm 13, and I WANT to believe in Jesus. I have studied, been to church, tried my best. But I just can't seem to believe. I do talk to him, and try to pray when I remember. I've been reading the bible and trying to do what it says.

But, I don't believe being gay is bad, as long as you find love. (I'm straight) My church said that you are either in, or out. No middle. At the moment, I think I am out. I don't want to be but I think I am. The church also said that you have to accept Jesus, which I try. They said you have to love him more then anyone. That I can't seem to do. I love my family, I can see them.

If I knew God was real though, I think I could put him above everyone else. My mind REALLY wants to believe, but its like my heart just won't allow it.

Do you think I am going to Heaven or Hell?

(English)they also murdered the American indian in the name of God,just to get the gold and the land from them,and they also did it to the Australian Aboriginal,to take his Tribal Land
from him,and how many more of you so called lovers of peace, have the ordasity to say that we are a peaceful Religion and we do not persicute any races for any reason.

How do you know it's not the devil answering you? to take you on the road to hell? The devil has power too.

You always say "I prayed about it, and I got an answer" THAT IS SO unreliable as a measurment of faith. To say that Mormonism is the true path to God.

my sons dad, believes that thier is a being who created us,, but doesnt call it God, and thinks when we die that we will no longer excist and that jesus was just a good guy. but he doesnt believe in the big boom , he does believe we were created by a being, what would he be?

How do you reconcile subjective experience (for example seeing the color red) with the reality of 'red' only being neuronal impulses of electricity across one's brain? Have you ever considered that it might be necessary for a soul to translate these impulses of electricity (and no, your brain does not do it; it's just that matter, equations, in short: materialism.)?
