Serious Question-My Apartment is Haunted - how can I get the spirits to leave?

My Ten Year old daughter is terrified because she has seen a ghost of a teen aged girl in my closet attached to my bathroom. The previous Occupants Husband died here and I have not told her this but I can feel a presence and have seen two ghosts also (an elderly Indian Man-who matches the description of the deceased Husband and a girl with long blonde hair). How can I get these ghosts to leave?

Thanks deleriumbliss- to those who doubt-yes this is real and no-I never discussed this with anyone least of all my daughter -I did not influence her to think this way-just the opposite.

If you're serious....

Have a cross in your bathroom, near your closet. The point at which the two lines of the cross intersects, creates a circle of "white light" invisible to the human naked eye. Spirits will see this and hopefully cross over.

Go to a new age store, buy some sage (kinda like incense) and burn sage. It's purifying.

And then ask them to leave.

Tell your daughter its OK. Souls that are stuck cannot harm her. They are lost and just need to find a way "home."

First of all, let go of your fear.

Bodiless spirits only exist in one dimension. As a living person, with both body and spirit, you are an inherently more powerful being. Plus, it's your place now... so act like it. Assert your right of ownership!

Make a point to fill the apartment with all the positive energy that you can... living plants and animals (even if just a fish tank), fresh air, sunlight, fine music... have fun-loving, good natured guests over often as possible and enjoy some envigorating activities together (not just watch television). Not necessarily throwing a party but spreading as much good vibes around the place as possible. Laugh often.

As has already been mentioned, a strong aromatic like sage and sprinkling saltwater over thresholds (doors and windows) have been reported to be effective. In my old city apartment, the children and I made a ritual out of placing a small colorful mini-tile in a section of the hardwood floor that had been gouged out near the front door. Through imagination, necessity and force of will, I invoked a warding charm over it. Always sensed after that if someone was standing outside my door... sometimes even surprised a few people by opening it before they knocked. ;)

Don't skip on a thorough "spring" cleaning! There's a reason witches are associated with brooms... sweep like crazy and while doing so be sure to visualize bad/old/stale/unwanted energy departing the premises along with the dust & dirt.

Then talk to these spirits. Explain the disruption and distress they are causing. Ask them, firmly but politely, to leave. If the thought doesn't make you uncomfortable, you might consider asking more friendly spirits (perhaps those of your own ancestors) to take up residence instead and help you "keep a watchful eye on things" going forward.

What you need is to either purify the space or to have the spirits exorcised from the apartment. I have experience with both. You are not crazy and your daughter isn't either. Spirits, ghosts, whatever you want to call them do exist. Most of the time they are harmless, just a little startling. staying calm is the best thing to do when coming across a spirit face to face (I know, easier said than done)
While I wouldn't recommend doing an exocisim yourself (not like the movie by the way) You can try to purify and cleanse the space. That might make them less active, but probably won't get rid of them. The old man might not realize that he is dead. I know it might seem silly, but try telling him that his physical body has died and that his spiritual self needs to move on. As to the teenage girl, you might want to try to find out why she is still there.

Well, first off, asking to them to leave is always a good start. If that doesn't work you could try a ritual sending (basically convincing them they're dead and need to move on) followed by a cleansing to get rid of whatever's left over. You could do that yourself or get a religious figure to do it for you (priest, witch, rabbi, etc.) Alternatively you could just accept that you have roommates that won't use up the hot water or drink the last of the milk.

DE de de dedede de. Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters. Cheer up. I am sure there is a reasonable explanation for this. If going through some hebe jebe ritual makes you feel better than do it. You certainly know the history of the apartment. Get over the fear and they will leave.

ask them to leave because they are scaring you child most will, you can call out your local churches ( mormons will do so even if you are not a member) also you can ask a local witch group to bless your house or do it your self. Salt water is cleansing holy water burn sage thru out the house asking the spirits to leave and make sure you have the smoke touch every part of the rooms and clostets. cleanse with salt and sulfur.. Invoke your god when doing so.

Try asking. It some times works from what I've heard. If that fails there's really not much else that will work. Try finding peace with the ghosts.

Get a dog, a fierce dog or a couple of fierce dogs in the house. Get the dog(s) to stay with your family for about a year or two.

The spirit will surely run away.

Holy water,if you can buy a hall orniment(or something similar)that says"bless this house" and place it somewhere you will see it everytime you enter the flat you should be ok.

there is no such things as ghosts lol pray that you and your daughter will not have a spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind in Jesus name amen and tell the devil to leave you alone if you use the name of Jesus the devil will run away from you as fast as he can.
