Alright. I'm 13, and I WANT to believe in Jesus. I have studied, been to church, tried my best. But I just can't seem to believe. I do talk to him, and try to pray when I remember. I've been reading the bible and trying to do what it says.
But, I don't believe being gay is bad, as long as you find love. (I'm straight) My church said that you are either in, or out. No middle. At the moment, I think I am out. I don't want to be but I think I am. The church also said that you have to accept Jesus, which I try. They said you have to love him more then anyone. That I can't seem to do. I love my family, I can see them.
If I knew God was real though, I think I could put him above everyone else. My mind REALLY wants to believe, but its like my heart just won't allow it.
Do you think I am going to Heaven or Hell?

Sounds like your being honest. There are ALOT of people who feel as you do but will not admit it due to fear of eternal damnation. How can God punish you for being honest with him and with yourself?
You are right to question these things, but most religious people don't care what you think, they just want to convert you. Those people must be approached with suspicion.
Keep using your natural gift of logic and reason and you will find the answers. Be patient.
EDIT: I've noticed most of the answers in this thread are attempting to suppress you from thinking any further, and dismiss the thoughts you've already had. There is just something not right about that.

You need to pray this simple prayer:
Lord, I believe, help thou my unbelief.
No matter how hard you try, you will NEVER be good on your own. You have to accept the strength of Christ to help you to overcome sin. Pray and read the Bible everyday, and when you pray, ask Christ to enter your heart and help you to surrender your will to Him. You must invite Christ into your heart everyday. And remember, your walk with God is a process that takes time. As you continue to walk with Him, you will grow in faith and knowledge of His word, ever growing closer to Him each day.
Philipians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Oh, and if you have accpeted Jesus into your heart and life, and asked to forgive your sins, than rest assured that you are saved.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Take courage, dear friend. Remember, your strength alone cannot not save you from sin. Christ offers you a helping a hand, a righteouss hand that will uphold you and cleanse. Will you accpet it?
Philipians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
If you would like to know more about salvation and Jesus Christ, as well as other confusing subjects in the Bible, may I suggest these Bible studies? They are free and you can take them online. They will help you to know Christ better, and they answer many tough questions that arise when studying the Bible. And trust me, they are not boring. I know your 13, but many teenagers have taken and enjoyed these studies.
May God bless you, and draw you ever closer to Him (which He promises He will!)
James 4:8
Come near to God and he will come near to you.
EDIT: And another thing, about the whole homosexuality part of it. I am not condemning you for believing as you do, but, before you make your stand on this issue, you need to search the Bible for the answers yourself. Don't go by what people have told you, even if that person is your pastor. Study the scriptures for yourself, so that you might know yourself what is truth. Never delve into the scriptures without asking for guidance from the Holy Spirit, however. Satan can misinterpret and twist scripture in your mind so that you think it says something that it doesn't. You are old enough to do this now, which is why I encourage you to study for yourself. The free Bible studies I have recommended are a great place to start!

Your mind wants to believe. That is your problem, you have to believe in your heart, then understanding will come.
You cant see the wind or the air, but you know it's there. There are microbes all around us you can't see, but we know they exist.
I don't think you are going to hell. Keep your reading in the New Testament, and when you come to see who YOU are to Jesus understanding will come to your heart. Seek and you shall find.

"No one can enter the Kingdom of heaven except through me."
-Jesus Christ-
To be saved we must accept Jesus into our hearts and lives, there is no middle ground. I pray that your heart is opened up and you will be able to have Jesus come into you life.

no one can tell you whether or not you are going to heaven or hell, it is between you and God, He knows the true desires of your heart, if this is what you really want to do, then keep trying and eventually it will break through, nothing in life is easy to believe, especially if you can't see it or feel it

I can only tell you that the beginning of wisdom is respect of the Lord. You seem to have it. Keep studying. Keep praying. Trust me, if you're His, He will reveal Himself. Then you no longer have to 'make a decision for Christ', He'll make it for you.

You say you don't believe so you are going to hell. Why don't you try asking God to show Himself to you? You can ask Him anything you want.

." Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, NOR HOMOSEXUALS.....shall inherit the kingdom of God" ...... And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God". (I Corin. 6:9-11)
You can be set free from this demonic sin through the power of Jesus Christ. Many homosexuals have been completely set free to live a holy life through the power of Jesus Christ.
