First of all, just ignore the rest of the answers to this that were just people putting you down. If it is spiritual to you, who cares what anyone else has to say about it.
cowboydoc, you really have an obsession for hating people you do not agree with, and you need to get over it. A couple of people in your town did something you did not like, and now you hate everyone in the religion. And... Wicca is the religion, a Wiccan is someone who follows it. Read the first amendment.
For the rest of you who disagree with her and put her down, she might be young, but she is a nice person who loves her religious beliefs. Even if you find her naive, at least she has something that she loves, and is willing to ask questions when she is unsure of something. I don't think any of you have the right to call her names, and degrade her just because you might disagree with something.
Unfortunately, for many people, especially those of Abrahamic beliefs, anything that is not what they believe is of the devil. Instead of learning to respect others, they accuse them of being evil or deluded by the devil. This is not the case for everyone of those beliefs, and I will never say that all people of a particular religious belief are bad people, or that they all disrespct other people; but a few of them do tend to give a bad reputation for the good people who really do respect other people and their beliefs.

We here in Mid-Michigan do know you worship Mother Earth. But, I want to ask you, why then have you people created such a stir all the way to the State supreme court over the showing of the Nativity scene on our court house lawn. We gave you every opportunity to have your own scene there and, offered to help the few of you who belonged but, to no avail.
You people were very adamant and didn't want the scene at all there, citing prejudice to they're religion.
It cost our small town tax money we didn't have and every concession was given to appease you all to no avail again. Your case then went to the State court and was thrown out, Then "to get even"? maybe, I don't know, your followers started raising heck around town with accusations about their so called "religion" as they called it.
Finally, being in a business in the area, they were boycotted by everyone and eventually had to go out of business and finally out of town. We haven't heard from them since.
Now, do you still want me to judge me, as my taxes went up to pay for the hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay for all this nonsense and the troubles you all created and then, scooted out?

If they are Christians that adhere to the bible, they will not judge, least they be judged. And let he who is free from sin, cast the first stone.
I practice Love thy neighbor (wiccan, christian, or whoever-as long as they aren't jerks) and treating others as I would want them to treat me, (and the Beatles - live and let live)
Live long and Prosper my Wiccan friend.
Other Christians want everyone to have Christian beliefs because if you don't believe in Jesus you won't "inherit the kingdom". So anyone who does not believe in Jesus is a problem to them, it is not just the Wiccan religion.

I've never understood the need to make this point. Why do you feel the need to justify yourself to those who claim that you do worship the Devil?
You do understand that they live in a binary world - if it's not Jesus, it's Satan. If you're not for them, you're against them. You don't need everyone to love you. You don't need others to approve of your lifestyle for you. The only thing you do need is to realize that's the way it's going to be because people are morons and they believe stupid things sometimes.

Even though I disagree with what you believe I have found Wiccans to be very nice people (at least the ones I've met). I have no beef with your belief system either (other than I'm an Atheist and I don't buy into it). You don't try and force your beliefs on others, you don't inhibit scientific advancement, you don't judge me for disagreeing with you, etc...
Wicca is one of the religions I will agree to disagree with.

Worship God or no one at all. God hates witchcraft. It matters not whether UR nice if UR also a witch. Theres nice witches and bad witches but a witch is a witch in Gods eyes.

I am very glad that you posted this. My best friend is very much so involved in Wicca and she's the sweetest girl I have ever met.
I hate the negative stereotypes they give to the people who believe in Wicca.
