Where did you ever get the idea Christians support war.
I'm praying for piece, I am not sure what is all to do with this war, I don't like war but there are reasons to go to war and there are three kinds of people thoughts on war. 1. an activist, they think we should go to war over everything. 2. A Pastiest, they don't think there should be war over nothing.
3. A Selective, people who make decisions and think if they should go to war or not over what has happened.
I am a Selective, I believe there are times we should go to war and take a stand for what is right, not just sit there when evil is being done. I am not saying this war is right because I really don't know everything behind it only what the news says and that is not always the truth. So I Just pray that God helps our leaders make the right decisions and hope piece comes soon, but we can not be a great Nation if we do nothing when evil strikes even if it is to help a weaker country, If you were in a country where others were raping and killing your family wouldn't you want a stronger country to help you.
God says to love your neighbor and I don't think he just meant the guy next door.

The media has a brainwashing agenda whereby they repeat story lines over and over but we provoked Muslims. There is a very powerful business labeled the military industrial complex they profit from war by authorizing more money to give away to corporations that their cronies run into the ground. They blast away at the Muslims not because they attacked us, that was allowed on the twin towers and our govt let the Saudi family fly out. The Pentagon strike wasn't a plane it was orchestrated for a bigger impact in order for us to buy the war cries; because they want to kill Muslims and break up their unity while establishing bases in their lands. George Bush is not a christian its all a political ploy. Put the topic of the New world order on your radar and things will start to connect. It's this power play that is coming to put us in a police state where our constitution is once and for all just a noble piece of paper. I'm at my wits end because to many still are so unaware and skeptical when all you got to do is be critical when reading about the actions of our leaders.(sellouts). We have got to get sober or well be in camps within a few years. Christians are not in charge, those supreme court judges are a majority of relativist that are thinking us into the new world order rather than fighting for the tried and true principles.

I am a Christian and a combat vet and I think George went over the hill again. War is not easy. We can't just pick up and go there would be mass genocide. If the civilians are civilians why are they sheltering rocket toting insurgents. As a former soldier I'd bet if our guys weren't getting shot at they wouldn't be shooting at all.
I am against the management of the war. I want change. I am not ready to tell our soldiers who have fought and died over there that we aren't going to back them up. That we are going to cut and run as we have done many times in the past.
I would figure most of those guys and gals would prefer to believe that they have the backing of a Christian Nation. Sorry not PC. God Bless!

I do not support the bombing of anyone...in any country. There is a big misconception that Christians support / want the war...on the contrary no one truly likes war or wants war...However, I do personally support our government and President and I pray for them daily...which as Christians we are instructed to do..we do not have to agree with it, but we are supposed to pray for them... The only thing in war that i am worried about supporting is the Soldiers..because whether or not someone supports or does not support what our government decides...those men and women are over their dying...voluntarily..they protect our rights and freedoms to say and do and live freely in this country.. So frankly I support them I have known to many kids that have done tours and I will never speak against them...I suppose if civilians of another country didn't bomb us first..(9/11) we probably wouldn't be in the mess right now..losing more precious, irreplaceable lives.

People may considered civilian death in Iraq collateral damage. Iraq has done nothing wrong to us. The invasion Iraq is illegal. Human death is unnecessary. People at this site may be too young or knew too little history. Let me point out that American military fire-bombed Dresden and Tokyo and dropped atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II, bombed Vietnam indiscriminately and used chemical warfare in Vietnam, the effect of which is still experienced. Those warfare was directed at the civilians. Who says the religious American leaders have high moral standard?

it is oil and will always be
but the wolf need some moral excuse to eat the lamb
so it was
wmd
then free Iraq
then zarqawi
then al qaeda
then stability
then civil war ( sectarian war never took place in Iraq before the invasion of us
no religion or principal agree with what our government is doing
but the lamb has oil
oil is the American life
we have to sacrifice any thing for

We are not bombing anyone. We are in Iraq to bring peace and a different form of government. Besides, the Iraqis themselves are doing the bombing in their country--Not America!

Apparently you have not read my answer correctly. I did not say that America is bombing Iraq and I did not say that it was okay.

The same way you can be Muslim and support killing thousands of innocent civilians.
Don't generalize. Christians did not start this war.

That's a wicked groaner.

Not knowing how to stop it does not mean Christians "support" it.
