Oh, I'll not find a credible answer on R&S, but you think I will find one at liberal, anti-christian websites like Wikpedia? Very funny

My friend Martin S above gave you an excellent answer. I don't think I could do any better than his answer, so I will do DIFFERENT by naming some who are prominent Apologists:

Norman Geisler / Ken Ham
Hank Hannegraaff / D James Kennedy
John MacArthur / Justin Martyr
Josh McDowell / Walter Martin
Henry Morris / Lee Stroebel
Bernard Rams / Francis Schaeffer
R C Sproul / Thomas Aquinas
James R White / Ravi Zacharias

My list is BY NO MEANS complete; and only represents MY opinion. I only placed those on my list that my wife and I own something written by, and I am therefore sure I have given no false information. If you want further information on anyone I listed, email me, and I will be happy to tell you more.

In His Service,
John the Baptist

Someone who practices the command given in this passage.

1 Peter 3:15 but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; 16 yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

Someone who is willing to take the time to explain why the Christian faith is based upon truth and can be accepted by a logical mind.

Here's a link to a well known Christian apologetic.

And here's some of what Ravi teaches on his program "Let My People Think".

It comes from the Greek word apologia which means to fight or contend for the faith.

In Christ
Fr. Joseph

Christian woman,

That is one of the strangest man-made doctrines I have ever heard for a Christian. What makes you think that the gifts of the Spirit were only for the apostles.

some people who started up there own style of religion, they think they can lay their plain old human hands on someone and heal them or cast out demons, they are wrong,,,, only the 12 apostles had that power and they have been dead for many, many years.
