If God has chosen you for salvation, you will receive the imputed righteousness of Christ. Then and only then will you be worthy of salvation.

You are right because God will not drag anyone kicking and screaming into heaven and all those who choose a life of self indulgence would never want to serve another, especially not Jesus who teaches you must love and obey God first, love others second, and yourself last.

Jesus died on the cross for their sins as well, but they choose to worship themselves and in so doing reject the free gift of grace and salvation provided for them by Christ's sacrifice.

No, I respectfully, disagree.
Only in the sense of what u are
considering heaven & hell to be.
If You reject Christ, You are not worthy of him.
If You live as tho' other things AND ppl are
more important to You than Christ,
You are not worthy of him.

No, I can't say as I agree with that. It contradicts Christ's words at John 17:3. There, he stated that everlasting life was dependent upon taking in knowledge of two people. Although the scriptures do teach that some will attain to heavenly life, there is no mention here of heaven. He merely says that everlasting life is dependent upon knowledge.

Moreover, the apostle Paul was divinely inspired to record Romans 6:23 where we read: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." NIV. The contrast here is drawn between life and death. Again there is no mention of heaven. But that man will be able to live eternally on earth is clear from a consideration of such scriptures as Psalm 37:10, 11; Psalm 37:29 and Matthew 5:5.

Salvation is not synonymous with heaven. Salvation is synonymous with everlasting life. But that everlasting life may be spent in heaven or on earth.

Peace sure mention's HELL profoundly! I learned about this other place from a Jehovah Witness here in Yahoo and it might interest the rest of you. It's not a Hell but a ABYSS.
Abyss: a deep immeasureable space, gulf or cavity, vast chasm. (2) anything profound, unfathomable, or infinite. (3) the lowest of most hopeless depth.
Satan will be thrown in the abyss for a thousand years. Peace do you think that maybe that is where the human devils will be? In this abyss for a thousand years with Satan? I myself don't know but it does make me wonder.
Hey, I am getting free Bible Studies here from the knowledgeable one's and that makes Jehovah God happy! No hell...........it's Abyss!
Hannah says it right about life.

You're close. Salvation is "you are not worthy of Heaven but I love you anyway. I've chosen you, come here."

His shed blood is what makes us worthy. When we are born of God, we are made the righteousness of Christ.

Even one sin will keep you out of heaven. So? There needs to be an atonement for your sins.

Salvation is not a thing, Salvation is a person, Salvation IS Jesus Christ.

If you have the Son you have life, having life is being saved from death.

But yes in some respect you are right.

I would put it this way. Love God hate sin

You do not get how wrong the concept of HELL IS.
Why should people of other faiths burn ETERNALLY IN HELL, just becasue THEY DID NOT BELIEVE in Jesus?
There are millions of people that do not believe in the same thing you do, why should they be tortured? AND FOR AN ETERNITY? What kind of just God would that be? THAT IS A MONSTER.
I would not send ANYONE, even the worst scum of the earth, to an ETERNAL HELL TORMENT. It is cruel.
THE PUNISHMENT DOES NOT FIT THE CRIME.
HOW CAN YOU CALL SENDING SOMEONE TO BE TORTURED FOREVER FOR NON BELIEF A MORAL THING? I AM MORE MORAL THAN THAT.
