I like your question and agree with the religious part of it but not so sure about the cultural part.
Generally a culture has rules to guide people so that they can live together peacefully.
Social status is all to do with selfishness.
Religion is all about controlling the masses.

Nope, sorry, your argument erroneously assumes that religion, culture, language, traditions, beliefs; do not migrate when people move about on this planet. You assume that we are born in one place and stay there the rest of our lives. We do not marry into other cultures, learn other traditions, or adopt a belief that is not of our families background.

You fail to understand that free-thinkers are in every nation, creed, culture, tradition, and religion. The human race is the over-all make-up of every person on this planet. It encompasses every nation and tongue, all belief systems, and all corners of the world.

My family is so diverse, that when we have reunions it looks like a United Nations meeting. I love each and every one of them and cherish every culture, nation, and religion that they come from. And believe that each is a gifted, knowledgeable, free-thinker; in their own right.

It is dreadfully arrogant of you to put others into an inferior position, just because they are not exactly like you. This attitude of yours can also be called racism and bigotry. You need a reality check, the world is not as big as you think it is, and we are part of a global society. The definition of "being" is to have a state or quality of existence; the essence of a person or can be called a personality (which is our basic essential nature).

You said it well! It's not scary to be free at all, in fact, it's like taking off a pair of control-top pantyhose you've had on all day ... to let go of religion and structure and rules and threats and judgement and just let yourself discover on your own what life is all about is ... incredible.

I was born of Christian parents but became an agnostic spiritualist around about the time I was a teen. I've studied all the religions and made my mind up about each one. I even illustrated Hindu picture books so that I know a bit about the Hindu Trinity and some of the other Hindu gods. I've read up on philosophy and man, ... I tell you ... THAT stuff can REALLY get your mind working! It's wonderful!

Freedom FROM religion is very ... liberating. Your thirst to learn about everything or your contentment to just stay away from all strict systems of belief is a cause of contenment I could never give up now.

That's what I have to say!

So basically none of us are free unless we accept your religions, cultural and social indoctrination?

Why is it you so called free thinkers always sound the same? "There is no God"; "You're brainwashed", "Im better than you."

I guess that you have to be like that to dismiss religion without a thought. It must be easy declaring it all wrong after learning about none of it.

Where is the compassion in that? How do you obtain knowledge by dismissing it all? If any of us followed your philosophy we would end up excluding ourselves from the human race by your own standards.

Call yourself a free thinker if you want. Labels can't really hide the truth. And the truth is you are just as much a follower as anyone else.

Now if you want to seek after the truth, if you seek knowledge dilligently, the Lord will reveal Himself to you. Because He truely does live. And when you know He lives you will recognize the rest of humanity as your brothers and sisters and desire to share His love with them. You will be compelled by the knowledge of the truth and the experience with pure love to do so.

These are just the basics, and few people understand them. And those that do still dont practice them well. But you will never understand the basics with your philosophy of rejecting all and condescending to others.

I would say you assume a lot and have no factual basis for your "statistics". I was not born Muslim. I was born, baptized and raised in a christian family so the "chances of me following" Christianity according to you are 99%.
I used my heart, intelligence and free thinking to CHOOSE a religion which called to me. I was raised with every faith and none of them be they catholic, hindu, sikh, muslim, christian, jewish, Jahovous Witness, Mormon or Rasteferion lacked any quality because of it. In every faith there are many social status's, cultures and races. Is there a black muslim? Yes. Is there a Japanese Jew? Yes. Is there a poor christian? Yes. Is there a wealthy Hindu? Yes. You sure like to use assumtions about people when spouting your rubbish dont you. Like there are no athiest who are heartless, unintelligent and follow a group or organization of course there are. To assume all that dont have faith are one thing and all those with faith are another is just plain stupid. Are people of faith less of a part of the human race? Last time i checked i was very much a feeling, loving, giving HUMAN BEING.

What do i have to say? You are a stereotype projecting man with a severe hatred for women. Breast evny is a sad, sad thing. You need help DUDE! Honeslty.....

Let's see now... WHO would be in CHARGE of REQUIRING/FORCING parents to comply with this "free thinking" utopia you are defining for us? For it is the PARENTS who are in charge of raising their children as THEY see fit, not as YOU see fit.

You seem to be basing this "philosophy" on the assumption that children who are raised by atheist parents will become atheists, and that is not a correct assumption. Christian children can... and sadly many do... grow up to reject Christianity. Similarly, atheist children also grow up to reject atheism, and some actually embrace Christianity. Case in point, Madelyn Murray O'Hair and her son, William. And the overwhelming bitterness, contempt, and hatred that Madelyn had for William's conversion... or in her view, his betrayal, was complete... as witness her statement:

"One could call this a postnatal abortion on the part of a mother, I guess; I repudiate him entirely and completely for now and all times...He is beyond human forgiveness."

And this is a mother's LOVE talking?????? Is this the definition of a "real human being" that you proffered: "use his heart and intelligence , free his or herself from all religious , cultural and social indoctrination use compassion and knowledge to guide yourself and join the human race."

Madelyn was certainly very COMPASSIONATE, wasn't she? If that's what it is to join the human race, thanks but NO thanks!

Do you believe that your thinking is free of all imposed constructs, hence the name "free-thinker"?

Does not the secular or materialist view contain all sorts of constructs of its own?

Do you believe to be a non-believer is to be unbiased in your world-view, or have you just picked up a bunch of biases, unknown to you, through the back door?

a.k.a. the myth of the notion of the objectivity of the non-believer.

My heart uses itself. It pumps blood. That is what it is there for.

You might have freed yourself from religious indoctrination.... but cultural still taints you... and social indoctrination still controls you completely. If it didn't then "compassion", "knowledge" and "joining the human race" wouldn't matter to you.

Truly... if you wish to free yourself from social indoctrination.... you need to learn not to care about anyone nor anything but yourself..... and beyond that, you need to learn to take control of yourself.... and free your mind from the shackles of its own instinctual core.

You are far from free, human....
If freedom is what you truly seek then ready yourself for pain and chaos like you have never known....... for only the path of the Nihil can lead you to freedom.
Freedom from religion.
Freedom from society.
Freedom from humanity.
Freedom from feeling.
Freedom from caring.
Freedom from life.
Freedom from existence.

we need religion..and God warned us not to be forsaking our gathering together. But what religion is the right one?
think of this when you look around

humble, non political, honest in all things, chaste, respectful, obeys all commands of God, obeys all the laws of man, non materialistic.

Pride that you have come out of the muslim faith is not to be trumpeted. Because pride goes before a fall. Be humble and let God work his will for you.
