thank you brother for pointing this out! Makes it all the more clearer.
Edit: Vladimir: Just so you know, young marriages were practiced even within the western monarchy in the past.

There are hadith stating that she was 6 when she was married, and 9 when the marriage was consummated. The hadith (which has already been shown in a different comment) is authentic. Also, hadith are not 'wrong' because they were told from Aisha (ra) and others such as the sahaba. The quranist who left a comment should be absolutely ashamed. I cannot believe there are people out there who would be as bold as to say that the hadith is by satan (insulting the wives and companions of the prophet sws who narrated the hadith), or by saying that Aisha ra might not even exist. Sunni and Shia disagree on a lot of things. The followers of the Prophet sws (meaning those who are sunni because they follow the SUNNAH of the prophet sws) do not believe you can insult his wives and companions. It is common sense (and there is a hadith that says those who curse his companions are not from among him). However, both do follow hadith - although perhaps not the same ones. I've never heard a sunni or shia insult Aisha ra, I'm pretty sure both (but definitely sunni) think she was a wonderful person.

you might like this also to keep you warm in december!
1. Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allâh (SWT), (the) One. The Self-Sufficient Master, (Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks) He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. (Quran Chapter 112)
2. He is the Merciful and the Compassionate, the Guardian and the True Guide, the Just and the Supreme Lord, the Creator and the Watchful, the First and the Last, the Knowing and the Wise, the Hearing, and the Aware, the Witness and the Glorious, the Able and ' the Powerful. (Holy Quran).
3. He is the Loving and the Provider, the Generous and the Benevolent, the Rich and the Independent, the Forgiving and the Clement, the Patient and the Appreciative, the Unique and the Protector, the Judge and the Peace. (Holy Quran example). The question of Allah's (SWT) 'God' existence has preoccupied men's minds for many centuries. Those who believe in Allah (SWT) 'God' seem to agree that the limited finite human intelligence cannot prove the existence of the infinite boundless of Allah (SWT) 'God'. It can only illustrate or demonstrate his existence to the satisfaction of the curious human mind.
Those who deny Allah's (SWT) 'God' claim to rely on science, philosophy, or special theories of knowledge. Their arguments are sometimes inapplicable, sometimes irrelevant, always complex, and often incomprehensible. However, the developed mind will find its way to Allah (SWT) 'God'. Failure to find the way does not mean that there is no way. Denial of reality does not make it unreal

Hmm Easy Question
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) has made a role model for muslims that if muslims want to go 2 heaven and make Lord happy they have to follow him and all things he did in like is an example for Us
Same as he married at age of 25 to Khatija who was 40 mean muslim can marry woman of higher or a higher age man can marry a lower age woman to proof this he married girl of 9 age and when he passed away she was 18 year's old and she was not 14 when she fought Ali lol.
after Prophet death Abu Bakar Was made Caliph for 2 years which make her 20 then Omer Bin Kathab was made Caliph whos regin was 10 years make her 30 Uthman was successor to Omer who ruled for 12 years make her 42 and after the death of Uthman a war was fought between Ali & Ayesha on the faith of the ppl who killed Uthman.
Prophet has many exclusive things that no other human have like mohmmad fasted for 3 countinues days he was allowed to as many woman he had to offer salat after midnight muslims have choice either to offer or not no punishment.

I am surprised to see your unwanted and rather disputed quote about the age of Aiysha - The mother of all Muslims!
This is what shia cult believe and promote about the age of Aiysha (pbuh). Shia always settle their political issues in religious shapes. Shia express their hate with Aiysha by reducing her age and try to make her degraded in Muslim society???
The 90% main stream Muslims - Sunny do believe that Aiysh was 14 years of age at the time of marriage.
Did any one ask her age? Why are you worried !
Do you think you are serving your faith??
You need to trace authentic source from Islamic history. Read Ansab-e-Rajal or others..

Friend correct ur self a little:
Prophet's Second Marriage After Death of His First Wife:
During this time when he was of fifty years Khawla advised him to re-marry, because after death of his wife he was lonely. He agreed, but asked with whom? She said that there is one widow Sauda bint Hakim. She embraced Islam and her husband has died after migration of Habsha (Ethiopia) and secondly daughter of Abu Bakar have more right over you. As Abu Bakar is your very faithful friend and his daughter is among the first believers. Marriage with the widow, Sauda bint Hakim was arranged very soon. When Sauda was asked about marriage, she expressed willingness and her father expressed with joy, "What a nice couple". She was fifty five year of age being five years senior to the prophet pbuh. This was his second marriage after death of his first wife. Marriage with Aisha daughter of Abu Bakar (may God be pleased with him) was also arranged but not culminated and she went to her home a few years later. At this point one thing is necessary to point out that in start of Islam she embraced Islam with her sister Asma. Surely she was a girl of some understanding at that time. And at tenth year of prophet-hood she was engaged to Apostle of Allah. And then she went to her home a few years later. It made clear that her age was sufficient young at the time of her marriage. It is not like mentioned by critics of Islam. And during those times, age difference was not taken into more consideration among Arab society, for marriage ties. As we have already read that at the time of first marriage of prophet (peace be upon him) was twenty five years while his wife Khudija was forty years old. And we see that Um-al-Mominen Aisha was much loving to her husband. And being an intelligent and having poetic wit served Islam more than any other woman. She is like a teacher of all Muslim women in future for their family life. Since message of the Apostle of Allah was for all nations, all ages, situations and for all classes. We can find the biggest orders beside minutest matters of life. There are orders for king and subjects, for free and for slave and for criminal and prisoners of war, about wives and about relatives, and about all spheres of life.

Cultists in America who abuse children get burned to death by the government. (See David Koresh) Why would anyone give a child of 6 to be married to a 53 year old man? If this is the most exalted of Islam it makes me sick.
