You forget, the bible is divinely inspired.

God left them out, not the authors.

Importance of women's roles was limited when the authors were writing the bible - that was a cultural thing. Divinely inspired or not (I tend to vote for not) it was still written by men, with their socially conceived biases.

there is a good book called Women in the Bible that gives you more insight into those who were included and why.

there are many women in the Bible, Sara, Eve , Mary, Ruth, Naomi, Eunice, Martha, Deborah, Ester, Lois, Racheal, Leah, Elizabeth, Mary Magdaline, Dina, Most of the women were in the Old Testament because the New Testament is devoted to the teachings, and establishng the church. Also the plan of salvation, and ending the Old Testament Laws. That is why there are not many women in the new testament, but some are mention.

What does it matter whether or not one thinks there are too many men in the Bible?...The Bible is what it is, what you 'think' is irrelevant...The Bible is God inspired, it's full of history, it's the way it was, the way it is and the way it will be. The Bible is factual, there's nothing in the Bible that's ever been 'proven' wrong. So, whether we think it contains too many men, women, fish, goats, lambs, wars, arguments or whatever is just a waste of time and energy...Why not concentrate on what it means and how it applies to your life today...

There are many women in the Bible who were leaders or examples of righteous living. Check out Deborah, Abigail, Esther, Ruth, Anna, Mary, Priscilla.

It's not that women were omitted from the Bible, they just were not condsidered that important, we do have a few women in the Bible that were mentiioned, Debroah, Esther and Ruth for instance.

That is because the bible was written by the men in order to make them look like God was close to them.

Christianity is a male based religion, one of many reasons I do not believe it.

Women in the bible are always stupid followers or easily decieved, and the men are always the holy ones.

The men who wrote the bible were scared of women, as they very well should be ;)

Yup...but it was written in those times when men in those parts of the world thought they were better then women. Just more proof in my mind that it's just a story book since the point of view fits the times.
