All answers welcome: Could someone please tell me why I have, at times some real negative energy's that come at me from all sides. (I am not exadurating, if you know me, you know what I'm talking about) I'm not a bad person, am a believer (born again Christian) with an open mind about alot of things. How do I turn a negative situation into a situation where I'm in control, in other words: turn the negative into a positive?

Sometimes we are attacked by negativity from people or situations....kinda like emotional vampires. People who tend to be addicted to chaos or any other substances for that matter have the ability to do that without even knowing. It would appear that this is something that they do without even being aware of it.
For myself....when i feel the negativity or the fear, i try to ask my higher power to take it away at once, say thank you and then get out of myself to help another person.
Getting out of self seems to be the best thing i can do for myself...
I hope you find what it is that you seek.

Blessings to you

First, please make sure you know you are a born again believer. You must be born of the water and Spirit. You know that means baptism (in Jesus name) and recieving the Holy Spirit. How did folks first recieve the H.S.? There are numerous examples in Acts, and those are the basis for all the believers throughout the rest of the N.T. Your experience should line up with the Bible, or you are lacking. Search for yourself.

The Bible says that the flesh wars against the Spirit. Our selfish will wars against the Spirit of God in us. That could be one way you feel battles waging in/around you. The devil would also like for you to become decieved and turn back to not living according to righteousness. That could be another. And finally, Ecclesiastics tells us that good and bad happens to all, we are made strong by trials. You are mistaken, you are never in control whether you're a Christian or not. But if you are, you have an advocate with the Father, -Jesus. Many times we must exercise our faith that we will do the right thing no matter what our temporary circumstances are. This makes us stronger, and we need strength. We don't just live for ourselves but that we can help others be saved as well. Nothing in this world is relevant to eternity except your heart. You don't need to turn your situation around unless you are certain it is the will of God for Him to turn it around. You need to persevere. Remembe Job? His life changed when he began to pray for his friends and stopped feeling sorry for himself.

Negative energy can come from a negative outlook on life, from surrounding yourself with negative people and from random contact with negativity (like that nasty, hateful check out girl at Walmart). LOL. And as for turning any situation into one where you have control....you must know as a Christian that it is best to give God control, right? Isn't that what being a "born again Christian" is all about?

Read the Bible more, and then read it again, then again, and yet again, read it everyday, all the time, then when a negative thing happens to you, you will recall verses in Scriptures that can help you think positively.
Someone says something evil about you:

Mt:5:11: Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12: Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Someone hates you?

1Jn:3:13: Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

Jn:15:18: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

Feel like you can't accomplish something:

Phil:4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Scriptures can turn any negative situation into a positive one:

Rom:8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

So then, like always, Scriptures is the answer.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ

You are all over the map.
1) You think that you are a good person. Is that what Jesus said?
2) You want control. What about God? When are you going to give Him the control? When did you decide that you were supposed to have control?

Advice:
Give yourself to God, all of it. All of you. You are supposed to be lain upon the altar of God and sacrificed to Him. You gave your control to Him supposedly when you became a Christian! You are suppose to look to Him and trust Him for salvation, peace, love, life, etc.

Let GO! Let God have it all. And do this: Weigh what I just wrote to you on the Spirit of God. From what I've read about what you think, you are not in the habit of doing that. Have you ever?

Why don't you trust God like He commanded?

The negative energy you feel is Satan trying to turn you away from God. That voice you hear telling you for example "Go ahead, steal that." is in fact, I beleive, Satan himself speaking to you. Your conscience is God telling you "That's not right". Ask God to help you focus on hearing and acting upon His word rather than the devils temptations.

turning negative to postive is a personal choice, we ourselves make the decision to make a matter positive or negative. I suggest you pray and seek Jesus for strength and wisdom and make sure you have a good relationship with him and he will be there to guide you.

Don't try to be in control. Let God lead you it is the best way. What we perceive as bad God will work out for our good. Know the peace and joy that God loves you and is leading you in the narrow path.
