I'm old, and retired from teaching :)
My religion suggests that I act according to a few principles
1. What I think, say or do must be for 'the good of the whole'....meaning what I do, must not hurt anyone, must be for the benefit of everyone. If I don't uplift then I bring down the consciousness of all.
2. Before speaking I think ... IS it true, IS it kind, IS it necessary
3. When in doubt ask, "What would Love do?"
Good and bad are relative anyways. The earth plane is like a schoolhouse for us ....a testing ground for Soul, that's all. There's always one more step
Don't forget, God loves YOU unconditionally, you can do no wrong. It's all experience for Soul.

What is good for me might be bad for someone else. As a Christian, I know that what I do can be changed by God as I trust Him. I am saying that He is an active participant in my life. Some Christians will relate this to you by saying, " It's a relationship, not a religion." If I have a behavior that God wants to change, He will organize the change in me. I give Him the credit.
In order for me to have a connection with God He said that I have to trust Him. Many of the other things that Christians get into are distractions from this bond. They begin to focus upon the outer things; the latest is the Global Warming issue that they think is a part of what they ought to do. God will partially destroy this Earth when He begins to tribulate it. So I know that this Earth will not be controlled by whatever we do about Global Warming.
I focus on Him and with that bond He works in me. As I focus on Him He brings me to understand what it is He wants me to understand.
I think that answers your questions.

56 retired from my first job. working at a second
Yes God's principles are very important to me. Faith does define who and who's I am. When requested to bear false wittiness in the work place I refused. They had no problem bearing false witness against me. Made my last 7 years at my first job very bad. Cost me my wife even though she told me she was a christian she sided with them. She divorced me and I did not fight it since God did not direct me to. I still remember the day God ripped her from my heart although I still pray for her daily.

My age is my business. Bad is what does harm or causes unhappiness. It is negative and comes from hate. Good is what makes people happy and is positive and projects love.
