Indeed we are speaking against wrong doing in the name of Islam. But we can not be silent about those who are attacking them and forcing them into doing things that they were not doing before. Many people are all hypocrites on all sides. THEIR side is allowed to kill the innocent with impunity. It is only the OPPOSITE side that does wrong. It is pure unadulterated hypocracy on many sides.
It is no business of the international forces to go attack and kill and tell the Muslims in any land how to live. I hundred percent agree with you that what the Taliban are doing is not only wrong, but totally against Islam and the Quran to target the innocent made by the Mighty Lord, Who we call Allah, and you may know Him by another name. Allah made and knows every single one of those Koreans and their lineage from the time of Adam. He knows when they were born, when was milk ready for them from their moms and how he saved the great great grand father or other ancestors during various circumstances which gave life to these individuals who are now being threatened with death, against the laws of Islam.
However, when people come to aid your abusers and those throwing bombs on you, people get desperate.
I wish Taliban would turn to the TRUE ISLAM of the Prophet which is filled with peace and mercy and not target the innocent at random as the Prophet never targetted any innocent at any point, and following him is required for all Muslims. But you can not be a hypocrite and get those who are killing the innocent in Afghanistan in the name of fighting terrorism off the hook either.
I see lots of terrorists on all sides. Not just one side! The whole World is going to the dogs as we witness it. Many of us are powerless, but we can do our bit. We can at least talk against it. Which is what you are doing I presume.
Work, and ask the Most High to bless it if it is good or let it become dust in the wind if it is done sincerely but is wrong. He has power over everything!

But try to put yr self in the taliban's shoes. There country was attacked Americans and bombed extensivly,,killing thousands of civilians(real human beings with families). And hundreds of innocent ppl imprisioned and tortured mercilessly.
This country Afghanistan is torn apart, the ppl r desperate an dfrustrated,They have nothing against the Koreans,,,but it is just a silly atempt to free their friends which r imprisioned in jails.

The tragic kidnapping and the killing of the Korean Christian Missionaries is abhorable, repulsive and morally unacceptable.
But they already know that Afghanistan is not a stable country and that the Talibans are bunch of religious extremists who can not tolerate Christian propagation in their midst.
The Koreans are not aid workers as we are made to believe, they are hard core christian missionaries who are bent to hell in converting the muslims to christianity by hook or by crook.
The responsiblity and blame should not only be put squarely on the Korean government or the US or the Afghanistan. They had done the best that they can. But also on the Korean Churches who send these people to war zones even though they are aware of the danger of their clandestine operation.
My Korean friends were once Korean Christian Missionaries. I have studied their strategy, lived with them and in fact worked with them. I went with them to muslim places believing that they are there to give aid and services but I found out that they want to convert the muslims for christianity. So gotta do my job, I converted them to islam instead. Believe me these missionaries do not read the bible even in their mother tongue, Korean, so they were surprise to find many errors in the bible. Try it with the Korean Missionaries near you, they are in Syria, Jordan, Sudan, Nigeria, Malaysia and any muslim countries even in Saudi Arabia! You will just see how these people are "brainwash" by their mother church in Korea into bringing a message that they themselves are ignorant.
They go to the very heart of "Muslim" extremism, the land of the Taliban and when something goes wrong they blame the entire Islamic people for not helping them. It's like putting a gun on your head trying to kill yourself and when your suicide failed, you sue the gun manufacturer.

I think you are being totally unfair to muslims. The muslim council for great britain has condemned all violence, many community leaders have spoken against all violence. I find your question bordering on racist and maybe a way of stirring racial hatred against a faith you (or I) know very little about. I didn't hear you asking why the UK and American church leaders are not speaking out against the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. You are entitled to your opinion, I respect that but you did ask.

(I am not Muslim, that said....) Obviously you aren't looking very far. Many Islamic individuals and groups have spoken out against violence. The fact that you refuse to look at Muslims who are standing up for peace does not mean that they are not standing up.
Peace is not a burden that rest sonly on the shoulders of Muslims. Peace depends on all of us. It is the worst kind of hypocrisy to be here saying "Why aren't the Muslims standing up for peace?" while you yourself are not acting as a peacemaker, but rather work to sow hatred, ignorance, and intolerance on the web.
Shame on you.

Dear ekka1234, I think, you certainly know that, after a war, only winners can speak and whatever they tell is true. On the otherside, defeated party can not speak. However, if they speak or try to speak that must be a lie !
