I love this question.
Sometimes we are immerse in the nonsense "fight" to prove the believes or non believes of each one and we need a simple good question to put the feet on the ground.
Rain is very common in my country and is rare not to see rain, at least for a short period of time, every day.
Water is the essence of life and rain is the motor that maintain the life going and going. Many cultures have gods of the rain for that reason.
Rain also affect the mood of the person. Some studies subjects that long periods of rain cause depression.
Good question.

Someone else asked about why was so much water in the bible and it does seem to have some special meaning. I never thought of rain as spiritual but now I might since you talk of it. Art is spiritual because it involves the higher regions of the brain just as religion does. Good question. Have a good day.

I love the rain. All water forms. and yes, it is spiritual to me. the earth is being cleansed and replenished. Nourished and so are we. I am almost always im a good mood during a rain (unless I had some spefic outdoor plans). But I feel connected with water.

Yes!!! I love the rain too. I live on a beautiful mountain with luscious trees and colourful flowers, waterfalls and small ponds of crystal clear water. The rain falls like mist caressing and invigorating with so much love and care that brings tears to my eyes. I see the trees during rain and I feel their gratitude, as they turn towards the sky in a silent thankful prayer.
It is a deeply spiritual experience as rain signifies the love of God/Goddess in the form of the most essential life-endorsing element, the water of life…
Thank you for sharing your love

I love the rain at times, I like the smell of the grass when it rains. But I love Sunshine better, as that's what makes me feel in a better mood;) Especially the crack of Dawn which is by far my favourite time of all.

Yes, it always makes me feel more spiritual. It just makes the joy come flooding up every time... It's been so rare that it rains lately (we are in drought in my part of Australia).
I wrote a song about it a few years ago...
Gently falling down from God on high
Rain is soft and clear it gives us life
Only when it rains my joy is high
Thank-you for the rain, God, thank-you for the rain
Rivers, lakes and streams all come from you
Water in my veins and art'ries, too
Wonderful the things that rain can do
Thank-you for the rain, God, thank-you for the rain.
Every living thing is made anew
Beautiful the things that rain can do
Dancing in the rain are me and you
Thank-you for the rain, God, thank-you for the rain
REFRAIN
Only when it rains my joy is high
Water is the pure essence of life
Gentle like God's love from up on high
Thank-you for the rain, God, Thank-you for the rain.
In the glist'ning leaves and gentle breeze
After rain the birds sing joyfully
Seeds of life and joy have been released
Thank-you for the rain, God, thank-you for the rain.
Thank-you for the rain, God, thank-you for the rain.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Scientific note: Rain (especially thunderstorms!) contains negatively charged ions, which is what makes people feel so uplifted and energized. The same phenomena occurs at the beach.... That said, God designed it all. I'm thankful for any reason to be joyful... and it's so easy to be joyful when it rains!
I always sing my song when it rains.
Peace be with you ProudMuslimmah!

I love the rain. The area in which I live is in the grip of a devastating drought.Rain helps. It provides a bit of hope.I also love rain because of the sound of it,the smell, and I love seeing how happy my ducks are frolicking around in it.Rain is a comforting background while I am reading, and a backdrop to when I play the violin.I love knowing that God created the amazing processes that cause rain.

I do love the rain. It feels cleansing. I like the soft, diffused light from the overcast sky, the smell of the air, and the sound of the raindrops on the roof. I'm an artist too, and I do some of my best work on rainy days.

Rain certainly has a spiritual quality, to the point that even souless Atheists have been known to appreciate the following.
--
A gentle rain settles the dust.
A cool refreshing breeze cleans the air.
Breath absorbed breath.
The ancient sand castles are nowhere to be found.
