God can't be real. Wasn't he supposed to make the Earth a couple thousand years ago, when scientists have PROVED that dinasours lived here MILLIONS of years ago? Also, there are a lot of unanswered questions:
1. If God created the world, he'd have to be born before that, so where did he live?
2. I thought that space went on and on and on so where is heaven?
3. Who on this Earth would randomly follow a star? Imagine walking down the street "OOO look, there's a star, I think I might just follow that."
4. When people are unconcious or whatever and they say: "I saw God" it's proven, it's actually a DREAM! :D

I'm only 12, so, I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but it's a bit sad that you adults believe in something I don't and I'm a kid. It's like believing in the Tooth Fairy! HA HA! Correct me if I'm wrong and if you have anything to add on, your welcome.

1. Who has ever said that God was ever born ? Existence is not the same thing as 'born'. The 'God' theory is God exist - not born.
2. The space went on and on thing ? Well, that's the theory (because no one really ever saw the space that went on and on). Heaven ? Well, that might be a theory, too (since no one really been able to saw it, either)
The question should be... why you would readily believe one and deny the other, when really... you could call them both as 'theory'?
3. Who on this earth would randomly follow a star ? Well, I guess the same kind of people who would randomly '...struck with certain facts in the distribution of the inhabitants of South America...' (Darwin), or randomly daydream about 'What will happen if you race alongside a light beam?' (Einstein) . Observant people would follow seemingly random things to (perhaps) find their greatest discovery.
4. Since, for obvious reasons, cannot really tell what's in people unconscious... who's to say that they don't really saw God ? Perhaps other conscious people just has not been 'unconscious' enough to see God....

At 12 years old, hopefully you can be more open-minded rather than said that it's 'sad' if people believe in something that you don't. Case in point: Some people said that it's 'wrong' (and they fly couple of planes to couple of buildings in NY few years ago) if others don't follow their beliefs.
And the 'a lot of unanswered questions...' about God ? Well, there are actually a lot of unanswered questions about science, too. Most of them are theories (supported by evidence, of course) but... not so much as indisputable 'PROVED' like you so capitally stated. Take Dinos... no one can really say that this dinos really look like this and eat this stuff.. the theory that we have now is based on compilations of evidence. Could it be true ? Sure... but it could also be completely wrong, either.
It would be great (and make for a more lively scientific, or otherwise, discussions) if more people would look at stuff from different point of views before dismissing them :)

Man may have been in existence for only a couple thousand years, but the Bible mentions life on earth before us. This is consistent with what we know.

God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and infinite. He has no beginning and no ending. He wasn't "born" like you or I, He is the very reason for time.

Space does go beyond our means of measuring it. Just as you can read in the Bible, Heaven is not a physical place. It is a place where the spirit goes.

You would never randomly follow a star. However if an host of angelic beings told you to follow a specific star for a specific and wonderful purpose you would undoubtedly follow that star.

When people are unconscious, they dream, they do not see God or Heaven. When somebody is actually physically dead for a short while, some report experiences that sound either like heaven or hell.

It is smart of you to be skeptical, but do not be so hasty to rule out an opposing idea simply because it is difficult to grasp. At one point in my life I would have agreed with you: There is no physical evidence for God. But if you are honestly seeking God, He will prove to you that He is real. Once you have a personal experience, you'll never again worry about what science has to say about God. Science is good, but God is beyond science.

1. If God created the world, he'd have to be born before that, so where did he live?

God is there from the Beginning. He is the First and the Last, the Alpha and Omega. He created the Earth. Theres no end for Him.

2. I thought that space went on and on and on so where is heaven?
Heaven is Gods throne. We cant see with our Physical eyes but with the Spiritual Life.

3. Who on this Earth would randomly follow a star? Imagine walking down the street "OOO look, there's a star, I think I might just follow that." ...........you got to come up, boy!

4. When people are unconcious or whatever and they say: "I saw God" it's proven, it's actually a DREAM! :D.......yhis one too

This is nothing o worry...you ll get the right answers..as you study more...

You are making a very common mistake here... you are thinking that the earth and the universe created in Genesis, by god, is the REAL universe. The universe of Genesis consisted of a big glob of water with some dirt sticking out of it (flat earth) with a solid dome... the sky... over it. The sun, moon and stars traveled across the sky INSIDE this dome, under the control of machinery that was operated by angels. The angels were also in charge of large vats containing dew and snow, which they sprinkled upon the erth at the appropriate times. Heaven is located on the 'other side' of the sky.

While god was busy creating that universe, and puttering around in the Garden of Eden, poofing plants and critters into existence, and fabricating Adam and Eve from a dust bunny and a rib, in the REAL universe, not that far away, the Mesopotamians were making beer.

Okay first off, you have a great argument and great points and facts. But second, if you want serious answers, dont compare god to the tooth fairy. We dont worship a non existing human that collects teeth in exchange for quarters so even if you chose to remain comparisons, youd be wrong. Also, when you say that god would have to live somewhere, I think youre thinking about jesus. God has just "always been existant" as the bible says. Heaven is not a place that you can travel to, therefore its not in space or anything. No full solid would go, just the soul of the departee. The star was effing huge and twinkled okay? Youre 12, you like shiny things too. Not every dream is fake, hence psychics and mediums. Jesus was after the time of dinosaurs when donkeys and sheep started. Therefore god created dinosaurs too. The end.

hi I'm quite young myself and i don't believe in god either believe what you want to believe and don't give yoUr self a head ache thinking how is that possible cause it is going to get you nowhere and for ur question about following the stars maybe some research on astronomers (if you don't already know their scientists who research stars) might help you. And in the mean time believe what you want to believe and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Do not listen to these other people that r criticising you they have no right to and to the people who think young people can't think of complicated questions like yours screw them cause i was thinking like that when i was seven and I'm sure you were to.

Well you're definitely entitled to your questions, but you're still a young mind so just remember to keep it open!

God did create the Heavens and the Earth...that's all we know so it is, what it is...but read the Bible and it will explain all of this for you. As for the 3 wise men following the star, it was very bright and they knew what they were supposed to do. People that have a strong relationship with God talks to him and they hear Him as well. When people say that they saw Him (whether under water unconcsious or whatever that may be) - they could be having a near-death experience and a lot of people claim to have these visions.

Gotta have Faith!

God created the Earth in seven periods of time which was poetically translated into "days." Most people don't know that the original Hebrew means something different.

Each "day" could've been millions or even billions of years. We just don't know.

Even God can't create something out of nothing.

Where is heaven? Keep studying, keep an open mind, and always try to do the right thing and you'll find out before you die, I promise.

The star? I assume you are talking about the wise men, etc. Well...there was a prophesy that a star would appear as a sign of Christ's birth. They followed it to see where it lead, etc...

God doesn't usually speak to people in dreams. Usually He speaks through the Holy Ghost. In fact, He almost always does. Only rarely does He do something else...

Whatever you do, please keep an open mind, keep searching for truth until you are absolutely sure that you have discovered it and always try to do what you feel is the right thing to do.

Does the sun cease to exist when it sets, simply because you can't see it anymore?
Science has found things that both disprove and support the existence of God. You'll never hear about the stuff that supports the existence of God, nobody wants to encourage us "loony Christians" (or Jews, or Muslims, or Mormons).
Anyways, it's good that at such a young age you've learned to think for yourself. As others have said, come to your own conclusions. Staying true to and standing up for what you believe, whatever that may be, is very important.

God has always been there. He wasn't born. I know it's hard to understand, but that is the thing with God. You just have to believe. I swear He is real. Once you learn to recognize His presence, you'll believe forever! Sometimes God will bring a warm calmness throughout your body when you are at your bleakest! I hope you will meet the Love of God that I know. I am not a preacher type. As a matter of fact...I'm a rapper! So I cuss and say some pretty weird things from the point of view of "The Church Lady". Isn't that special? But I have some visions and God speaks to me...sometimes aloud. So I speak from that point of view. I hope that helps...I didn't give my life to Christ until I was 19...and I was uncomfortable everytime religion was brought up. See, I couldn't understand yet.
