God created this world within seven days huh?
I wonder how long it took God to create the whole universe.
As far as I am concerned God created one sun and one moon according to the scripts. Why not mention the other suns and moons? Why not mention his creations in other planets? If one day aliens visit our planet and claim they never even heard of Jesus then what will you Christians do?

The Bible talks about life on the other side of the grave. In fact, in the book of revelation we find a passage that describes spirits talking with God and saying "those who dwell on the Earth." Why would they say "those who dwell on the Earth" if they were on this planet.

For example, you would not say, I am going to take a trip to Chicago on the Earth, right? We all know that Chicago is a place on the Earth, right? If you lived on Mars and said "I am going to Miami Florida on the Earth," this makes perfect sense because you are traveling from another planet to this one.

What is your view?

You know...like paranormal experiences. ghosts..etc. Just wondering. I don't believe in ghosts, but I've always wondered what people who have claimed to have these experiences were really experiencing.

Proverbs 6:16-18:
"These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

You know the supercilious arrogance of acting as if your unions are somehow superior to the unions of homosexuals - that is haughtiness. It is also sowing discord among your brethren. And we all know you're proud simply because your arrogant. You have shed innocent blood in your drive to end homosexuality more times than most people could imagine and therein lie the wicked plans (i.e. telling homosexuals they "can't" be Christians because of something in Leviticus yet refusing to give up their own abominations - shellfish, lying, not crossing in the crosswalk, etc. That sort of righteousness is beyond HAUGHTY.

YOU'RE BREAKING EVERY RULE! Does this mean you're all going to hell?

i was baptised catholic but i decided about 2 years ago i didnt believe in that stuff (i never really was religious in the 1st place). i just dont understand why people can believe in it. in my opinion it doesnt make any sense and i dont see any proof and i just dont understand how christians can believe in god so much when they've never actually talked to him or seen him. and the religion contradicts itself and i just dont get it. so why do you believe in your religion when you dont have proof and it sounds impossible? and im just wondering, they say that god knows everything that's going to happen so why would he create a person whom he apparently knew was going to hell and why would he even make a hell in the 1st place? i dont understand any of this...

ok everyone here's the scoop. my fiancee` used to go to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and he wants to convert to Catholicism but he doesn't know how to tell his parents. Especially his mom since she grew up in that church. How do I help him get the courage to stand up to her? He's so afraid she'll take it out on me and he doesn't want that.

I always see problems among Christians in churches. One person dislikes another person, etc. etc. How are Christians supposed to handle these conflicts amongst themselves in a biblical and peaceful way?

Someone just told me this about the Old Testament: "Jesus now instituted a new Law Covenant with all that would follow him." It was in response to abominations brought up in the Old Testament, how they were 'no longer true' - oh, wait, EXCEPT for the one about homosexuals!

Dee deep!

If the Mosaic Law ended with Jesus' death then why are so many Christians still bigoted and hateful toward homosexuals? Are they ignorant? The other abominations included eating anything from the water without fins or scales, lying, looking haughty, not crossing in the crosswalk, etc.:

Most Christians who answered the question told me that a. The O.T. had only to do with Exodus and 'not the rest of us' or only paid attention to the one dietary restriction I mentioned - shellfish. Did the words LYING, NOT CROSSING AT THE CROSSWALK, & HAUGHTY EYES not get through somehow?

I'm a little bit confused by this. The heading says that this is in Salem, Massachusetts and they were going to get a lot of money. The actual scripture details it out pretty clearly.

Did they ever get this? What exactly happened? Was this a false prophecy? Was Joseph just on another treasure hunt?

Is this scripture considered by Mormons to be actual word of God? Do you live by this scripture in your daily life?
