...sending it back to the "stone ages"?

What has been found has profound implications regarding Darwinian evolution, the theory taught in schools all over the world that all living beings have evolved by natural processes through mutation and natural selection.

Paul and other authors were wrong to think Jesus would return in their lifetime and Christians say they were divinely inspired ?

"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." -- Matthew16:28

"But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God." -- Luke 9:27

"Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done." -- New Testament

So........ since "everything is NOT accomplished" then the laws of the Old Testament are still in effect !!

1) All of the Old Testament laws will be binding forever. "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB)

2)"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do EVERYTHING they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.' (Matthew 23:1-3)"

3) Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place." (Matthew 5:17 NAB)

I am not Mormon and only want one wife. Do they insist that you bring several women into your bed chamber? I don't feel called to do this (at least not at the same time).

For instance, a so-called Christian is caught having an adulterous affair. Should the church discipline that person and expel him or her until he or she forsakes the adulterous relationship?

Other churches get together for sports tournaments, etc. The Mormons never participate, and only play against other Mormon "wards" or "Stakes". Why is this? Wouldn't this be a great way for them to fit in with the other religions out there?

The tounges of today are NOT the tounges of the bible. Chapter 14 of 1st Corinthians is very explict about NOT speaking in tounges and how it profits NOTHING. Please explain to me this modern day phenomonon and WHY oh WHY people think it is biblical when the bible clearly states..

a) NOT to do it in church
b)in groups of 2 or 3 at most
c)with an interpreter!

Besides the fact that they were languages, and it profits you nothing, these 3 things are very explict about unknown tounges.

The bible talks about people doing them in front of other to boost themselves, and that is the same thing we have today. People want people to look and say "wow, he is filled with the Holy Spirit", but that is just not the truth. That is far from the truth. It is not done orderly.

Read Corinthians and tell me what you think. Chapter 14 is ALL about speaking in tounges! Check it out!

"Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)"

"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do EVERYTHING they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.' (Matthew 23:1-3)"

Here is what Paul said regarding the ruling authority:

"The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment. (1 Corinthians 2:15)"

How could the founders of the Latter Day Saints claim to be Christians if they preached practices that go against the teachings of the Bible? How can anyone think that Mormonism is a Christian religion if they claim that God told Americans to commit bigamy?

"The New Testament says that marriage to another partner while the first partner is still living is adultery (Romans 7:1-3). No fornicator or adulterer shall inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9,10)."

http://www.scripturessay.org/article.php?cat=aliving&id=605

Here is a photograph of the infamous bigamist, Brigham Young who reportedly had 51 wives against the law of God and the law of the land.

So Mormons, your Big Love was a Big Sin, as bigamy is adultery and contrary to Biblical teaching!

Did King David commit bigamy? Yes! Was it sanctioned by God? No!

Did God create Adam and Eve? Yes! Did God create Adam and Eves? No!

This was a lesson for LDS.

We never had any liquor in our house at all. Even cooking with it was a sin. Is there doctrine that clarifies this or is it one of those things that people just interpret the way they want to?:

The Duck & The Devil
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods;but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the
dishes.
But Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen." Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?" So Johnny did the dishes. Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper."
Sally just smiled and said, "Well that's all right because Johnny told me
