This is one of God's laws:

Leviticus 18:19
'Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual impurity .

Psalms 19:7
The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple .

and

Psalms 119:160
The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.

If we put this all together the Bible says that God's law is perfect and all his ordinances are FOREVER. If something is perfect it doesn't need adding to or taking away which is another command:

Deuteronomy 12:32
"Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do ; you shall not add to nor take away from it.

The interesting thing is, I know MANY christians who say they believe the Bible and believe it is okay for a married couple to have sex on their period. I think it is messed up how those christians call people sexually immoral for commiting adultery when they are sexually immoral to.

I would like to respectfully (no judgement here) ask why we condemn people so much? Jesus Christ commanded that we not condemn others! One time I was in this bar. (I was in a backslidden state). This woman from my church was in the bar! She goes: You know better than to be in here drinking! I answered back like beavis and butthead "uhhhhhhhhhhhh your in a bar too!" It really disturbed me! I was so confused back then! I was like: What in the world is going on here? I have people talking about me behind my back. I go to the bar to get away from them. AND HERE THEY ARE!! Of course, I know there are alot of good christians out there that care about me and have a heart of Gold. My goal is to be the most caring person I can and to love God with everything in me. I believe God loves everyone! Even Atheists! He may not approve of what they do, but if they open the door, he will BE THERE!!!

I have a neighbor who does not own a TV or even a raido. She says both are tools of Satan. She only reads christian books and her Bible. She has only Christian CD's and tapes for music. I think she is a little overboard, She is living in a shell.I am a little worried about her. She does not go to Church but she is always studing her books and her Bible Nothing wrong with that but she is so isolated. Am I wrong?

The fossil record is an embarrassment to evolutionists. No verifiable transitions from one kind to another have as yet been found.

In an age of scientific enlightenment, it is incredible to think people are willing to maintain that something so vastly complex arose by chance.

While chance is a blow to the theory of evolution, the law of science are a bullet to its head. The basic laws of science, including the laws of effect and their causes---- energy conservation and entropy---undergird the creation model for origins and undermine the evolutionary hypotheisis. We must resist evolutionists who attempt to brainwash people into thinking that evolution is science.

Dr. Louis Bounoure, former director of research at the French National Center for Science Research, calls evolution "A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups"

If one reads Ramayana , you can easily identify the actual similarities between todays existing monuments , temples and places with those that are mentioned in this holy book. The war fought with Ravana from lanka was with the help of hanumans people from the hanuman kingdom - even these hanuman people actually helped rama to construct the Rama Bridge from port city rameshwaram ( exsist today) to lanka - today this bridge exist from rameshwaram in TN to lanka and many other monuments exist as well.

My question is in this link:::

Despite the fact that the Bible says that only the righteous will inherit eternal life, people still believe the wicked will suffer forever. In order for a person to suffer, they have to be alive. The Bible says "hell" (The real word is Gehenna and it is a valley outside Jerusalem used for dumping dead animals and criminals. They would keep a fire burning constantly to keep down the smell.) will be a place where the wicked person's maggots will not die and the fire is not quenched. Well, for one maggots only feed on dead skin and it says that the fire is forever but does not say the person.
"Jesus" (Yehoshua) said "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in "hell" (Gehenna).

Notice He said DESTROY BOTH BODY AND SOUL. If a person's body and soul are destroyed they are DEAD and NOT CONCIOUS therefore how can they suffer torment forever?

Do we sometimes lose sight of what is truly important in life such as family, church, and serving Christ. Do we get to distracted by the world, and lose hold on treasure in heaven.

Many of the atheist here claim that they were "raised" Christian. How can this be when giving your life to Christ is a decission that an individual makes for themself? (parents or political figures can't make you accept Jesus) Did you actually give your life to Christ and then turn away, or just ignored a Christian upbringing?

The bible is very specific when it comes to this. Women are aloud to teach other women but they are NOT to have authority over a man. People point out that our culture has changed since then (true) but isn't Gods word never changing? Just curious to hear what you think about this. Thanks guys!!! (No disrespect to any women. This is just a question out of curiosity)

Do you feel like some People who claimed to be Christians have been mean to you, or hurt your feelings in any way? I'm just asking because I have gotten my feelings hurt many times. I can laugh about it now. But at the time, it really bothered me! It really made me angry! It actually caused me to question God Why? Why? I was once a non believer as a teenager. I came from a pretty harsh environment. So, I blamed God for all of the heartache and abuse that I recieved. But it wasn't long afterwords I became a Christian. And it was the best move I have ever made! But I didn't realize how mean that even church people can be! Its sad! But I don't wanna get my eyes off of the one who really cares! GOD! Your Atheist? Well, I don't agree with you! But I DON'T HATE YOU!

Star Trek's Scotty gets a great line ine one of the original episodes:

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Being a forgiving soul and willing to give chances when I deem them warranted, I'd probably say that "twice" is too soon to condemn myself, but he makes a point.

Our society and civilization cannot long last if we cannot trust one another. The fault is not in giving the trust: it is in betraying that trust.

And why hold the misbehaviour of one person against all others? If Person A betrays you, does that mean everyone will? Do we not all deserve the same chance you gave Person A?

Love and trust are not for the faint-hearted, for sure. There is pain to be experienced by those who take advantage and betray the trust and love.

But even now, after what I've been through, I can say Love is worth any sacrifice.

Even the pain of betrayal.

What do you say?

Would you rather be called a Christian or a follower of Jesus? The reason I ask is because when I hear the word Christian I immediately think of all these Tv "Christians" that get caught up in sex, drugs, and stealing. You never hear of these people called followers of Jesus. To me, the label is being tossed around for just about anybody. Just something to think about ;-)
