Your question is specious. Religion opposes God. He desires a relationship with man. Religion is a contrivance that erects barriers between God and man, and is far from the heart of God. Now, God created sex for enjoyment and procreation, so why would He be opposed to His own invention? I have lots of God and lots of sex in my life, as well as many million others around the earth. Is it possible that you are on crack? I'm not being mean, that is a fair question, given yours.

Peter was married, as where most of the apostles.

You can have sex without whoring yourself. So too, you can worship Yahuwah without whoring yourself spiritually to horoscopes, soothsayers, idolatory, adultery, or the teachings of Nicolatians. If you worship Yahuwah, you will quickly discover that you can do so and still have the best sex you and your spouse could ever hope to have. Read the song of songs for starters, the scripures can be and sometimes are errotic. The book of Judges shows that at times it can even get kinky.

But those who teach celibacy worship other gods whom Yahuwah's chosen people have not known.

Get real: marry in accordance with scriptural principles and be fruitful. And as a family, do the will of Yahuwah, in the assurance of his son Yahushua, and with the aid of the Holy Spirit.

Yahushua Shalom
Stephen

Well I don't beleive God is dependent on religion. Religion, however, is dependent on God. So am I choosing God or Religion. If it's religion I'll choose to go without religion and take the sex.

I would pick Religion over sex any day. Because through God you have love enter your life, you also begin to feel complete when you find what you truly believe, it uplifts your soul to new levels and sex would never be able to compare to that. Sex lasts for a short time, Religion lasts for eternity. Also sex pleases you for a short time, like when you have it and awhile after, but religion can please you for as long as you live, it gives a longer sense of happiness and oneness with yourself when you find the right one for you. So Religion Always First for me.

Sad so many have a one track mind, like a crack addict. People have rejected God because it interferes with their promiscuity for hundreds of years now. In the end, it will have all seemed so foolish by comparison.

Well, the historical unrest in the Middle East - which seems to be spreading across the globe - isn't based in/on sex... so I'll go with sex, since it seems to be the less murderous of the two.

Fortunately that isn't a choice we have to make...but if I did, I'd choose God. As good as sex can be, it doesn't hold a candle to the benefits of having a relationship with God!
