I would like to respectfully (no judgement here) ask why we condemn people so much? Jesus Christ commanded that we not condemn others! One time I was in this bar. (I was in a backslidden state). This woman from my church was in the bar! She goes: You know better than to be in here drinking! I answered back like beavis and butthead "uhhhhhhhhhhhh your in a bar too!" It really disturbed me! I was so confused back then! I was like: What in the world is going on here? I have people talking about me behind my back. I go to the bar to get away from them. AND HERE THEY ARE!! Of course, I know there are alot of good christians out there that care about me and have a heart of Gold. My goal is to be the most caring person I can and to love God with everything in me. I believe God loves everyone! Even Atheists! He may not approve of what they do, but if they open the door, he will BE THERE!!!

1: the woman was likely a church busy-body. Every church has 1 or 2.

2: drinking is not a sin, nor does the Bible ever say that it is.

Christians are called to uphold and keep our brothers and sisters in Christ anchored. That is why we need each other because. we are weakest when we are alone traveling this difficult road in such a dark place as this.

You are confused for this is not condemnation, but as a Christian we are commanded by God's law to hold each other accountable. If you had backslidden then it was her duty to confront you.

You need not worry about people talking behind your back. They did that with Jesus all the time and you didn't catch Him hiding out from the others in a tavern. You would find Him among them teaching them.He did not run and hide.

David did not run and hide from his giant like the others did. He stood his ground in honor of God and His name sake.

When one is dragging Christ name through the mud by our actions we will be held accountable for those that are not Christians which are watching us. For more than likely whatever it is we are doing and shouldn't be doing to mislead them and gives Christianity or the church you are a member of a bad name.

The Bible clearly says that those who are against Him are then sided with the enemy. They are then the enemy of God.
Yes we are to love our enemies, but if they still hear the word and refuse it we are to walk away and leave them go there own way. I have not seen anything here other than Christian bashing and coarse joking using Jesus name.

If you are a true Christian, then that is your name. If you are not then change your name. But don't dishonor God by using it so loosely. We are Ambassadors for Christ and sent out to teach the world and all who will listen the Good News of the Gospel.

How many do you think will listen if they have seen you doing something you should not be doing?

It really sounds like its people like you that is doing the condemning against Christian people. I'm a Christian and have an opinion like everyone, but Christians don't Judge.. we leave that up to God to judge you.. We might have moral views that are a bit more conservative then others.. And I'm a liberal person that happens to be a Christian too..

So remember.. Judging is for God and only God.. We may all have opinions and differences on moral issues... but lets keep the judging to God....

I am so thankful that no matter where we are He is also. He always keeps an eye on us!! I am thankful for His love not only for myself, but for others. Also, He is wanting the best life for everyone. Seems like when we are hurting and trying to get away from it, here comes another hurting person, reminding us that we are hurting. Thank you for wanting to be caring

Sometimes brother... its only when we have really seen ourselves as who we really are that we can have a real sense of how merciful the Lord is towards us. Many of us in here can be quite religious and as such come across self righteous. In truth and fact we can write anything that we very well please on here and live a life that is opposite to our words. May the Lord really have rich mercy...
As christian brothers and sisters we need to learn one fundamental thing. Learn to cover One another. Its naturally in us to want to expose the sins of others. Some have besetting sins or things in their lives that they struggle with, and its in times like this that we need to really carry one another in the Love of Jesus. We are in one body of Christ ..if my hand is hurt or weakened then my whole body is affected by it. If I get a scratch on one of my arms, then the surrounding skin around that scratch is reddened. We need to learn how to cover one another's weaknesses and supply them with the nourishment in the word and in fellowship to restore them back to health. This takes a labour in love and from us caring for others with the inward parts of Christ. It takes being able to step aside and Let the Lord in us care for the lost sheep. Its to let the Father who loves us to welcome back the prodigal brother or sister...
I pray that we can each learn to care for eachother and until the ones among us ..care for the ones at church or at home , that until they regain their strength and their standing that we will be their support.. be the ones carrying them with or prayers.

Sometimes the proud ones among us are brought to a point of seeing their flesh for what it is. We cannot trust in our own self righteousness... our spirituality.. our abilities or what people think we are... OUR only sufficiency is Christ.. and this One crucified. He is the One that is able to keep us simple. Our love for the Lord is not just demonstrated toward the Lord.. but moreso to the brothers and sisters in our lives.. the ones the Lord put in our way to not just help them, but in helping them we are helped to remain humble least we ourselves fall into the same temptation.

may the Lord have rich mercy on us all..

In Christ

Funny story, I went into a bar (not knowing it was for gay males) to use a phone. Saw some men from my church there! I never said a word about it.

Christians do not condemn. They may judge people by their actions, but that is not condemnation.
Jesus did not tell us "not" to judge-but to judge righteously. This is often misunderstood.

i think that each and every physique is entitled to their opinion and that i think that that is truly not what God planned to happen, yet you're somewhat nevertheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. Its form of like asserting that individuals who...think of cussing is okay are not Christian. it truly is ridiculous, i recognize lots of Christians who cuss! So i think of you're nevertheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. God will continuously choose you somewhat.:-)
