I am assuming that you are looking to hang with some church people. I would suggest looking into the alpha course there should be one near you you can find some outings that way :)

Most of the outings in a church are organized by the various Sunday school classes. At least that is true of the larger churches.

Well, first of all it's God's Church not mine. The Church of God has a feast of tabernacles every year in accordance with the holy calender and the scripture Lev. 23, which commands God's people to do so. This is a gathering of the Church to rejoice before the Eternal. It's called the feast of booths.
