Brigham Young said, "Gold and silver grow, and so does every other kind of metal, the same as the hair upon my head, or the wheat in the field; they do not grow as fast, but they are all the time composing or decomposing..."

When, after being in near-constant retreat since the advent of science, are you going to finally acquiesce to the realization that god does not exist per se, but rather is simply a manmade construct and an instrument of control over others?

A dangerous construct, at that! How many have killed in the name of Sir Isaac Newton versus how many have killed in the name of their own god?

Atheists always think they are right. They refuse to even entertain others thoughts or ideas. They are closed minded, and very hostile.

Religious nuts always think they are right. They refuse to even entertain others thoughts or ideas. They are closed minded, and very hostile.

So who would better run the world? The pushy arrogant pricks or the other pushy arrogant pricks?

I have met a wonderful and beautiful soul who thanks be to God is not what her mother attempted to raise her to be. She was able to rise above the bitterness, the seeming disregard she was treated with to be a loving and precious woman. Have you ever met one like this? She has refreshed my soul with her beauty. She has given me such a spiritual joy today just to have known her.

I propose that the act you call worship is inherently demeaning to any intelligent being.

Let's first ask, why should you worship something?

Reverence. Honor. Adoration.

So, how do we determine what deserves our worship?

In the case of god, you claim god deserves our worship because he created us, and loves us. Fine. You also say he gives us a CHOICE to worship him. But is it a FAIR choice?

Worship is the ONLY form of affiliation god will accept. If you reject god, you face a substantial penalty. You can not be god's partner, or equal, or even his disciple. You must remain his subordinate, and (here is the important part) YOU CAN NOT "OPT OUT." If you reject him, you are damned. You pay a permanent, vengeful price.

If worshiping god were truly a choice, then you could either choose to be rewarded, or to not be rewarded. Because god damns those who reject his offer, his offer is COERCIVE, and therefore not worthy of consideration by any intelligent, self-respecting being.

I dont go around trying to get people to hate religion. When someone ask me do I go to church, its not an opening to tell me how Im wrong and I should go to church becuase its so much fun, God is good bla bla bla...Poppy Cock! Its boring and it doesnt make any sence at all. Leave me alone! Why cant you just say ok and drop it if I tell you I dont go to church? I dont want to start bashing your religion but I will if you force me to. UGH! They just dont get it! There are some people that I am friends with that go to church (one is a pastor) but they know how I feel about it and they dont even talk to me about it unless there was something funny that happened. They are the type of people that dont pressure you into doing stuff you dont wanna do. Why cant all religious people be like that.
Am I going to have to yell at everyone that tries to convert me?

In many elementary schools in this country, indeed, around the world children are taught that they are "special" and have value as human beings.

This is a logical fallacy that we are teaching our children and it is more based on religion, humanism, and politics than reality. Somehow we must get it into their empty little heads that their lives are worthless and that they do not matter. That they are one member of a swarm of over 6,000,000 walking human meat junkpiles.

Here is my beta lesson plan:

-Ask the children what happens when you swat a fly. Then ask them if all flies disappear after that one is killed. Then clarify the insignificance of human lives.

-Mention the chemicals that their worthless human bodies have in common with household trash and industrial waste. Complete with slide show of various pieces of trash.

-Stop teaching "love" and "kindness" and explain how irrational it is.

Isn't this more logical than all that crap moralist and humanist education?
