They won't! They let the pastor and priest lie to them about the truth about the Sabbath. The Sabbath has never change! Christian were persucuted for their belief in the Sabbath.
Christian say the Jews that are suppose to follow the Sabbath and we are under the New Convent so we worship the first day BUT God bless the 7th day before any human was on Earth (Genesis 2:3).
Christian say they gather on the 1st day BUT people misinterpret the verse and write it down wrong too on here. Its UPON THE FIRST DAY Meaning before Sunday. Then did God say he was going to switch the day b/c hes the only who can reverse what HE said, not Paul! (Numbers 23:20.)
What would Jesus do?
In John 15:10 Jesus said "I have kept my father's commandments" and we can also find from scripture that Jesus attended church on the Sabbath day. "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read." Luke 4:16
He would worship on the Sabbath!
Does it matter how we worship God?
Yes. In John chapter 4 the woman at the well asked Jesus the same question. Jesus responded: "the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." John 4:23-24.
But isn't it very dangerous to tamper with God's law?
Changing Sabbath to Sunday is an insult to God because it attempts to alter His divine law.
"Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God." Deuteronomy 4:2. "Every word of God is pure. ... Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." Proverbs 30:5, 6.
God has specifically and positively forbidden men to change His law by deletions or additions. To tamper with God's holy law in any way is one of the most fearful and dangerous things a person can do.

For Christians the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on the first day of the week (Sunday) replaces the Sabbath as the day of ceremonial observance of the Commandment to keep the Lord's Day holy.
The Catholic Church follows the teaching and practice of the Apostles. In the 20th chapter of the Act of the Apostles, the church in Troas gathered on the first day of the week, Sunday.
The first Christians were Jews. They went to temple or synagogue on the Sabbath (Saturday) with fellow Jews.
Then they gathered on the first day of the week, the day on which Jesus rose from the dead (Sunday), with fellow Christians to tell stories of Jesus and share Eucharist. See Acts 20:7.
Later Gentiles joined Christianity. The Apostles, filled with the Holy Spirit, decided that the Gentiles did not have to covert to Judaism. Therefore, they only attended on Sundays and did not have to abide by Jewish dietary laws.
This has been the practice ever since.
With love in Christ.

Satan has done a wonderful job of deceiving God's people, hasn't he? I wish more Christians would realize the importance of keeping God's holy Sabbath, but many just don't understand. They were taught that you go to church on Sunday, and everyone else does it, right? Many don't even realize that some Christians worship on Saturday. The Christians of this world need to be told of God's Sabbath message, and it is up to us who know what God's true Sabbath is to tell them. So spread the word! Saturday is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God, the seventh day, for God never changed it., Man did, and we must obey God rather than man.
God Bless!

True followers of Christ honor the Sabbath and observe God's laws. Unfortunately, some 'christians' have been decieved into thinking we are no longer under the law and that the Sabbath is for Jews. Satan has blinded these people from the truth, thereby destroying any hope of their salvation. God warns us about false teachers. Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15). It is therefore extremely important that we study the scriptures for ourselves and not be deceived by false teachers.

Is your question pertaining to the Day of the Week?
Or the fact that church goers do not even honour the Lord's Day any more?
If the first, [the day of the week] - evidence is drawn in three places of text -
"And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom ..."
When the veil of the temple was rent at Christ's crucifixion; the Jewish customs and observances were finished with. They were no more.
"And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread ..." [they came together for the specific purpose on this day]
"Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him ..." [the believers gathered on this day to bring their charitable offerings]
"I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day ..." [not the Sabbath]
It may be presumed from your question, that you are an individual who hallows the Sabbath Day - and therefore, certainly do not speak as a hypocrite.
If so, you are to be commended for following your conscience and rendering one day as holy, and set aside for God. Certainly, you could not ask this question, unless you were a living example of a Sabbath-keeper.
The Christian, for the past two thousand years, has held to the Lord's Day on the first day of the week.
(Although, even this has been eliminated from the religion of modern evangelical "christians'.)
If the Second, [about honouring the Lord's Day] -
It is a regular occurrence, everywhere; to see people driving from their church ... to the nearest Starbucks, or restaurant; grocery store, or shopping mall.
Their, they defame the Lord by their presence; and encourage the ungodly, greedy merchants to open their businesses on the Lord's Day. Indeed, by their custom, the modern church-goer rewards these businesses for defying the Lord's Day.
It this open and public display of hypocrisy on the part of those who claim to be Christians, that helps to make the name of Jesus Christ contemptible in the eyes of society.
The two first significant events of Christianity,
1. the resurrection of Christ, and
2. the pouring out of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples -
both! - occurred on the first day of the week.
This, coupled with the indications of the above text, are the reasons that genuine Christians hallow the first day of the week.
Sincerely,
Philip Livingstone

The 10 commandments and the Mosaic Laws were given to a rebellious nation. Jesus came and when he died, the old (Mosaic and the 10) law was nailed to the cross with him. SO, Christians should NOT obey the ten and follow the Sabbath. They should obey GOD!

The only problem with your question is that Christians aren't enjoined to the Ten Commandments...Jesus replaced the ten with one (or two): love of God and neighbor. Those, for Christians, are the only commandments.

I do - I'm a 7th-Day Adventist. Most Christians are unaware of what the true day of worship is for the Christian, so they unquestioningly accept whatever day their church tells them to worship on. Those church leaders will use many different excuses for why they should go to church on the pagan Day of the Sun (Sunday), but none of them will be found anywhere in Scripture. Jesus Christ, all his disciples and all Christians of the early church worshipped on the 7th-day Sabbath, and if it's good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me.

Are you coming from Mars!? The Christian's day is Sunday and the only commandment left by Jesus Christ is "to love each other as God loved us". Be more prepared next time!
