such as if a house which is haunted ,where do the ghosts go when its knocked down????

1) It could be purgatory, which is between heaven and hell.

I've heard theories that ghosts are the dead that have not yet passed on
If this theoretical house was knocked down then they may go to heaven or hell respective of where they stand conscience and belief wise, or the spirit may move to another sentimental location or they may just stay in the area. There is little if any possibility of understand ghosts if they exist, most religions do not allow for them and people who see them generally have spent a bit too much time with Jack D or are fraudsters, however i believe that if ghosts do exist theyre just waiting to go to heaven and so destroying the house would either speed them along or just cause them to mpve to somewhere else

there is a heaven, hell is here on earth, and if the house gets knocked down the ghosts just stay right where they are. Its the ground they are connected to not the building. The only time they move on is when there is something more interesting or when they ask for help (ie through a medium) or they get moved on by well meaning spiritual rescuers.

Theres heaven, hell and limbo. Unsettled souls go to limbo. As to where they go when a house gets knocked down, who knows................must be pretty pi**ed off ghosts!!

ok for me i know that sometimes when a person passes with out knowing it. their soul is trapped there in that time frame. even if the house is knocked down. thats why sometimes in certain sopts you can feel a change in the weather in a particular spot.

ghosts are people who cannot go to heaven or hell because they have unfinished business in this world,or they do not know they are dead.
