Like would they have the saints, then the martyrs, then the "really good ones", then the "kinda good ones", then the "mostly good ones". And what about the holier-than-thou group? And would they all "hang" and not talk to people in the other groups?

You'd have to ask God. I don't think any one here has been to heaven, so we can't really say.

I believe the answer is No cliques. There is nothing that any martyr, really good ones, kinda good ones, mostly good ones, or even the blessed holier-than-thou, can do to merit heaven. Thank God that it is not by our works. How would we ever know if we are good enough?

Why? We all do not deserve to go to heaven in the first place. It is by God's graces alone and our response to His grace that we are able to go to heaven.

To get a little more technical: all of us are sinners. God hates sin but loves mankind aka you and me. The only way to restore this relationship was to take the just punishment of our sins onto Himself. He did this through Jesus. As a result, it is not by anything that WE do but what God has done.

To summarize it would be illogical for there to be cliques in heaven because it has nothing to do with how "good" we are but everything to do with how we respond to God's grace.

the saints get the leather couch with the remote control. The martyrs get the love seat, and the "really good ones" are being watched by the saints and martyrs on T.V.. Heaven is like a hierarchy of the entertainment industry.

No, there would not be groups. First of all, you have to be more than "kinda good" to get into heaven, you have to have accepted Jesus as your savior, like the bible says, and live your life following Christ. If you are worthy of heaven, you aren't the kind of person that is judgemental, self-righteous, or any of that. You would love everyone, just like true Christians here on earth SHOULD do. You would get the chance to meet your heroes, if they are in heaven.

I went on a Christian retreat once where they said that in Heaven, we will be sorted into groups, BUT there won't be the stigma that certain groups are better than others. I'm not sure if I believe that. I'd like to think that we are all equal in God.

According to the parable of the vineyard workers... no.

Matthew 20:8-14
“So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’ And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius. And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner, saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’ But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you."

In heaven, all people are slowly devoured for all eternity. All people meet the exact same fate though it may be initiated by anything from swallowing a chicken bone down the wrong pipe to being disemboweled by a disgruntled girlfriend.

They're divided by prayer contest. Who can say the most per hour. Who can pray the longest non-stop. Who can pray the longest between bath room visits , etc.
