I was stupid enough to tell them I use to be a mormon, I must have also been stupid enough when I was an atheist in 1996 to give them my name, they got my records from utah and keep sending me the next rotation of mormons, but now they are after my son. i don't know what their obsession with my son is now, but I am getting tired of it, I may have to call the poilice the next time the next rotation shows up.

LDS missionaries have been persistent & patronizing, but polite. Refuse to listen to my side... come back with someone higher up on the chain that knows more of their doctrine. I wish I could just love them right out of the LDS.

For the most part quite kind....in some cases however they were NOT at all polite...which really surprised me....as all of my life they had been terrific, just of another frame of mind.
I think they became under pressure for results.....i knew some who at home were simply awful, to their own families, gossiping, and then when out and about, mostly kind, again sometimes not..but when someone is witnessing to you it is NOT like you REALLY see their lives now is it? It ended up in Idaho, that here was more Territorialism with the Mormons than with anyone of any religion save the A.A. people..(truth)....and they are practially as indigenous as sage there..it is person by person......children included.

Just fine. Salt Lake is a very polite city also.
I always comment on how cute they look as a couple when out on their missions. All the gay Mormons I know who are partners started out this way.
I even got approached by some in Vienna. Perhaps I have a face that says, "LDS me."

Mormon disaster relief treated me well. I was never approached by missionaries.

The ones that lived next to my grandmother were very sweet and non-intrusive. The ones that are distant relatives by marriage are a pain. They're pushy, rude, and seem to have no sense of boundaries. So I guess it depends on the particular person.

They were very nice the first time they came to the door. Quite soon I discovered they were lazy, liars, sneaky and the LDS (Mormon) cult tried and very nearly succeeded in destroying my marriage, family and life. They catch people when they are searching and most vulnerable.
They forget to mention that their founder Joseph Smith was a plagierist, polygamist, arsonist, child molester, rapist and murderer (all factual and documented).
They are some of the smarmiest people I have met.

I've met several. They were exceedingly friendly, genuine and kind.

I should add that the ones I've met have all been through a friend of mine who is originally from SLC. She is a wonderful woman, and I'm proud to call her my friend. We don't discuss religion out of mutual respect, but she introduces me to her friends, some of which are missionaries.

They have always seemed to be very polite, perhaps a bit pushy/desperate, but still polite. Strangely I'd say that the Mormons present one of the best witnesses around.

With fear, trepidation and apprehension. They told me boldly I'm not very nice, and I'm damned to outer darkness, and have dusted their shoes off on my front porch.

That's the last time I'll ever invite them to a pizza and beer bachelor party. They *did* seem overly animated about the transgendered stripper, though...
